How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The only minor downside was that payment had to be made in cash. While this was clearly mentioned in the booking details, I personally would have preferred the option to pay by credit card. That being said, it was just a very small detail and did not affect our overall wonderful experience.ח.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful – the apartment was beyond our expectations in every way. Everything was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home from the very first moment. The location was excellent and convenient, and every detail in the apartment was designed to make the stay enjoyable and stress-free. Most importantly, the service we received was truly outstanding. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and attentiveness really made the difference. Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect vacation spot.

Everything is perfect. Especially location. Parking is near - liberty square garage parking. There are also parking sites just in front of the entrance to the apartments but as for me the underground and monitored parking is more preferable option.

Beautiful units, great location. Easy walk to public transport. Management was very helpful with his local knowledge. The rooms are very new and modern, the stay exceeded our expectations.

just 1 or 2 washing machine tabs would have been good, it just wasn't practical to buy a whole box to do 1 wash. no dishcloth or cloth to dry plates, just a little washing up liquid, again, not practical to buy a whole bottle. a couple of nice chairs to sit in would have been nice, but please don't take the table away.

Its difficult to failt this place but the bed was quite hard and not very comfortable.
Lovely suite in the most perfect location round the corner from the river front, landmarks and tram stops. The place was as pictured. Clean and very tastefully decorated. Service was excellent- We were greeted on arrival and were very kindly given permission to have a late check out at no additional charge.

The place was clean, spacious enough and the location fantastic. We loved that there was a washing machine so we could wash our clothes while there. The host was very good and responsive. We had no issues. The apartment was very close to the Parliament and all the attractions.

It would have been good to receive clear information about the methods of payment prior to arrival.
Excellent location on the Pest side, close to Parliament building and a wide selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. Clean, tidy apartment with good facilities for a short stay in Budapest.

The front door is half glass and lets in a lot of light at night. If you like sleeping in black out please check with host.
Lovely little studio flat in Zoltán street practically next to the Parliament. Clean with great bathroom, fast WiFi.

Our apartment was on the ground floor, well laid out, and was one of the advertised options shown in the Booking app. It was in a great location that was accessible and walkable to all we wanted to see. Some important notes: 1. You have to coordinate timing with the host to get the keys. He was patient and helpful with the process as our train was delayed a few hours. Thanks again! 2. This was my oversight: BUT, you have to pay in cash. It’s not in the listing when you book or clearly shown in the app (or next to my credit card info used to book) but only after you complete the booking and get the confirmation email (and you scroll down a bit). So be prepared or you’ll have to run to a nearby ATM to be able to check-in, like we had to do.

Due to technical issues we had to stay at a different room than the one we had booked, whice was a surprise as we hadn't been informed on that. Nevertheless, the room we eventually stayed at was still at the same level. It would be better if the room was equipped with more than one pair of towels for each person.
Really good location right at the city center, clean and spacious room and bathroom, nice cozy bed. Easy communication with owner, prompt responses. He also let us check out late, which helped us enjoy the beautiful city of Budapest a little bit more!

Good location for river and Buda side. Good restaurants near by . Very quiet at night. Everything in apartment that you needed. Gabor very helpful and professional!

Only slight issue we had was the shower didn't drain as quickly as needed so nearly overflowed. But it was manageable.
Great little apartment, had everything we needed. Well laid out, warm and very clean. Location was great, near lots of landmarks and local transportation was very accessible. Would definitely recommend to others and stay there again.
