How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWe stayed in the apartment in Budapest and had a good experience. The apartment is cozy, the location is excellent, and the host was very kind and considerate.
I would recommend it for a family of four (two adults and two children) since the attic room isn’t suitable for more than that.

Verified reviewThe house is traditional and beautiful. High sealings and nice decoration. Very cozy and clean. The house is in the perfect spot accommodating every need.
We weren't fond of the bathroom. The toilet is in a separate room from the bathtub and the bathrooms sink. It was traditional but not easy to change rooms every time.

Verified reviewThe location is great, right in the city centre.
The 2nd bedroom is small and not possible to stand straight after climbing stairs to get to two single beds.

Verified reviewThe location was wonderful and so quiet ! Easy access to everything and an elevator for luggage to third floor .
The second bedroom was a loft up a narrow winding staircase that was maybe better for children than adults . The coffee maker was broken.

Verified reviewIt was a very special experience compared to staying at a hotel.
The shower over bath wasn't very convenient because there was no shower curtain, in order to prevent water from splashing everywhere we had to squat down in the bathtub to shower. There was also no holder on the wall for the shower head. You would always get poked by the fake plants on the side as they were too close to the bathtub and have long pointy leaves.

Verified reviewThe apartment was in a great central location, only a couple of minutes walk from the airport bus stop. The building was quiet and secure. Inside the apartment was beautifully decorated complimenting the style and building. It was light, airy, but also comfortable and homely. Beds were very comfortable, and it had everything we needed for our stay off 4 nights 5 days. If we returned I would definitely book again.
Although I loved the bath/shower, my husband wasn’t so keen. But it is a beautiful feature in line with the apartment so please, please, don’t let this put you off or you will be missing out on a real gem.

Verified reviewIt was perfect!!! It was in an incredible location, close to many modes of transportation. Lots of interesting restaurants, bars, shops nearby! Walkable to many tourist locations. The decor was superb, it felt like home.
The soaking tub was nice, but a shower would be good too.

Verified reviewBeautiful traditional apartment within walking distances of main landmarks, attractions and restaurants. The only issue was the mezzanine level which is very small. It was okay for us.

Verified reviewThe location was excellent. The apartment was spacious. The furnishings were lovely. The bathtub was a dream. The beds were comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The washing machine was a surprise bonus!
The furnishings were lovely but one full-length mirror would have been excellent!

Verified reviewLovely place to stay close to shopping & restaurants.
Would have preferred the shower separate from the bath in the toilet room, but understand that it is in the period of the beautiful building.

The bathroom is very traditional but it means the shower can be a hassle for westerners.

Verified reviewWe had to supply our own food
The bed linen was stained, soaps were used and not replaced, dish sponge was very dirty. I asked for a light bulb to be changed and was told I could do it myself, by standing on a table there was no way I was going to reach it. The apartment was also advertised as 2 bedroom, this is not true, you would have to climb spiral stairs to get to a rooftop room. This is not for old people, it also has a freestanding bath which is not suitable for older people.

Verified reviewLocation was very close to the center. And the landlord was so sweet.
It was so dark and dirty, nothing to do with the pictures. The day we arrived, we were so tired that we checked in and slept immediately. But the next day we realised how dirty the place was. So we checked out and stayed in an hotel. We supposed to stay 4 night at Nadi's but we didn't. We even think that the sheets were not clean and they were just instant parfumed. But of course I can not prove that. But I will attached the pictures. We wroted this to booking and Yvette but we did't received any refund. Nothing! So disappointing!

Verified reviewWe really liked the apartment! It is located in a beautiful building in the city center, very good transport accessibility - easy to get to the airport, many other places can be reached on foot. The apartment has its own charm and taste, beautiful tiles and in general the arrangement of the apartment is inspiring.

Verified reviewYou can clearly see in the pictures that this is a special apartment. When you enter here, you feel that time has stopped. It's like visiting your grandmother. Then, as you take a closer look at the furnishings, you realize that this is a modern apartment in a stylish outfit. Every inch is precisely designed and magical. The apartment has a soul that makes you feel at home from the first minute. The apartment is quiet, extremely pedantic, has 2 rooms, but one person can comfortably fall asleep in the living room as well. Baby and family friendly. In the heart of the city, 5 minutes' walk from Deák Square and Astória. And if you don't want to pay astronomical sums for the airport transfer, the 100E bus is a 2-minute walk away and leaves for the airport every quarter of an hour from 6 in the morning. (the bus leaves every half hour at night). If that wasn't enough, the owner of the apartment can be reached at any time and will help you immediately if you have any problems. There is no question that I will come back and that everyone should try that unique little jewelry box.
We can find faults everywhere if we want, but I think the most important thing is the overall impression and it is clearly excellent. That is why I can only say to this question that there was no such thing. Everything was excellent for me.
