Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumIt was a very big hotel but visibly understaffed. There was a bar in the gaming space, but it was not attended, I could not reach the reception by phone before our trip, and I almost cancelled the whole trip, I have never had such a bad experience before. Finally, we managed my questions via e-mail. The same in the restaurant, the staff who was there was super helpful and kind, but there were very few, compared to the amount of guests.
Beautiful environment, spacious rooms, excellent facilities. We went with a small child, a dog and adult children, everyone had an amazing time. Loved the bowling and games room, playroom for kids, beautiful terrace overlooling the park, wellness, etc. I very much appreciated that the hotel was really dog friendly.

CroatiaThe biggest issue for us was the Pool Bar/Snack Bar. The organization was poor, and the staff seemed uninterested and unkind. They didn’t speak German or English, which should be standard, and even our three-digit room number was hard for them to understand—despite all being young staff. For Hungarian guests, this isn't a problem, but for others, it's frustrating when communication fails. When bad weather was announced, they didn’t switch from the outside pool bar to the inside one for over a day. Staff just stood around on their phones in the rain. The inner snack bar opened the next day—but had no ice cream. We wanted to buy it, but they simply said they didn’t have any. It felt like they didn’t want our money, and the lack of organization was puzzling. Food like hamburgers or spaghetti Bolognese was mediocre—just enough to get by, but far from decent. The main hotel restaurant, about 70m away, offered much better food. The pool water was clean, but the floors weren’t cleaned once during our 7-day stay, even though a pool robot was visibly placed outside. Dirt and sand stayed in the same spots, especially in the children's pool, which only had a single slide and not much else. Lastly, the indoor sun-deck was clearly built to fit more people, but it shakes when anyone walks on it - not very relaxing, there is a mini-earthquake every time.
The newly renovated rooms were the highlight—modern, problem-free, and with perfectly darkening curtains tailored to the centimeter, something rare in hotels. Breakfast and dinner were very good, with unique Hungarian dishes like fruit soup or pork in sour cream with blueberries—we liked it all. Hotel staff were responsive and even provided a proper bed for our daughter, better than the usual folding options. The lobby bar offers a wide cocktail range at fair prices (7–8€, or 10–12€ for more complex drinks). The outdoor pool is smaller than expected and bad weather lasted our entire stay, but the indoor pools made up for it. Despite many guests, we always found space. The 25m sport pool is narrow but functional, and the single water-slide is surprisingly fun. Overall, great value for money at Greenfield Hotel.

HungaryNeeding to leave the wellness at the same time you have to leave your room. Would be much appreciated if you could stay longer, even after having checked out.
Very big selection of food, both at breakfast and dinner, something for everybody, also vegan and vegetarian options. The room was big and spacious, bathroom has handles to help you sit up.

SlovakiaAccess to the spa and saunas was seamless with the watch-like bracelet, which also doubled as a convenient payment method at the bar—really practical! However, one small improvement could make the experience even better. In many spas, space for bathrobe storage is an ongoing challenge. I didn’t necessarily need a sun lounger, but since there wasn’t a clear or designated place to hang my robe, I had to use a seat just for that purpose. This meant that many sunbeds on the ground floor were occupied by towels and robes rather than people actually relaxing on them. A simple solution, like numbered hangers on the side, would free up space and make things even smoother. That said, I really appreciated the spa elevator, which took us directly from the room floor to the wellness area—such a thoughtful touch!
I had the pleasure of staying at Greenfield Hotel Golf & Spa in Bük over the weekend, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was an absolute highlight—both breakfast and dinner were served in a generous Swedish buffet style, offering something for everyone. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, health-conscious eater, or even lactose intolerant, there were plenty of delicious options. The variety and quality were top-notch, making the half-board dining truly enjoyable. The spa was another pleasant surprise. It was spacious and never felt overcrowded, which might have been due to the season, but still, the atmosphere was just right. The outdoor thermal pool was a real treat, and the sauna area offered plenty of space and choices. I also loved the slide tower, which added a fun touch for guests of all ages. Speaking of guests, the mix was great—families, elderly visitors, couples—but the vibe remained relaxed and civilized, without feeling too noisy or like a retirement retreat.

AustriaGot a room with my dog end of the 3rd floor, only by elevator possible to go outside, which was busy and time consuming and doing this multiple times a day was annoying. the breakfast was nice but dinner was overcooked, at least the fish and side dishes. some of the personnel in the restaurant didn't speak any other language beside Hungarian.
Extremely nice spa and big enough, multiple pools, used the swimming pool most and had it almost entirely by myself. outside pool was big, water at perfect temperature, there were fireplaces around it after dark. nice park around with small lake.

BulgariaA hotel employee shamelessly parks a car with license plate RKU117 in front of the hotel entrance, drives recklessly on the hotel’s pathways, while at the same time, the hotel places notices on guests’ car windshields when there are no parking spaces available. A four-star hotel, yet the water in the rooms is charged. Drinks are also charged at dinner.

SlovakiaMy stay at the Greenfield Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. Every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations, creating a perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation. The hotel’s wellness facilities are amazing. The gym is spacious, well-equipped, and clean. Whether you’re into cardio or strength training, they have it all. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and there was never a wait to use anything. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of working out and indulging in wellness treatments. Lastly, the staff were wonderful—always attentive, warm, and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. For the money, it was absolutely worth it. The level of service and the quality of the facilities far exceeded the price, making it a great value for a wellness getaway. Overall, this hotel was perfect for both fitness and relaxation. I will definitely be returning!

Austria(-) Spa Receptionist needs to be more customer friendly & oriented. Most of time “I’ll be back” sign, did not offer herself other options. HungaryAirconditioning at 38 degrees outside could not cool down our roof room, we had 25 degrees, was difficult to sleep. Also cushion was too big/high. We asked for flatter cushions at the reception. The receptionist noted down our request with big smile, but we never received the cushions...

AustriaA few small things: Having to pay for a bottle of water that was left in the room - unusual! Bar was very nice but service could be better - waited 10 minutes first day before getting served at the table, then only after asking one of waiters behind the bar if it was self service - he then came immediately (and it was not busy). Each day we had to go to the bar to ask to be served. Spa area is ok although only it only has a small basic pool snack bar. No spa bag provided, very unusual, first time I have stayed at a spa hotel where no bag is provided - lucky we had something with us to use. Getting coffee in the morning took very long - very long queues at the two coffee machines. Maybe more machines are needed. A lot of flies in bathroom on day of arrival.
Breakfast and evening meal was very good with a lot of choice. Nice room with view over Golf Course (Superior double). Even though we were not with children, the play & fun area looked very good and I would recommend this to my daughter who has 2 small children. The Chill area also looked good although we did not use it.

Czech RepublicThe only thing we didn´t like was the waitress who was working downstairs in the bar by the bowling. She did not understand any English at all, not even names of drinks, words like "shoes for bowling" etc. In the hotel of this level I would expect staff undertsanding at least basics of English or German. She was not nice as well, looking annoyed that we are talking to her.
We stayed at this hotel for the third time. The accommodation is beautiful and clean, the breakfast and dinner are fantastic and the wellness, which is part of the stay, is great. We will definitely come back again.
