Reviews of Szinbád Hotel 3 stars

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is right outside the historic city centre so it just takes a few minutes to get there. It is very nicely layed out around an inner courtyard which also features as parking. With a bit of squeezing it was possible to get 2 cars and 1 motorcycle there (we arrived by car). The whole hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything is clean, and very nicely decorated - especially the breakfast room. The room itself was a bit more sober, but spacious and clean - including the bathroom. Free wifi worked without any problems. With Pecs being a very beautiful city, this would definitely be the hotel to return to.

There is nothing to mention what could be considered bad - as stated, the hotel really exceeded our expectations.

Lazne informacija na booking.com Pise da imaju parking, obzirom da sam dolazio u ovaj grad s autom trazio sam hotel s parkingom. Kad sam dosao u hotel dobio sam info da nemaju parkinga i nisu mi uopste pomogli u pronalasku parkinga.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were cordial, accomodating and always in good spirits. Housekeeping was spotless! A/C in room was great (important for me in the Summer).

We spent only one night, but it was exactly what we needed for a good rest after a long drive. Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast and secure parking. People speaking English and German.

Great location and nice , clean room. Breakfast offers a variety of options to choose from.

The room was on the top floor and was rather hot, you can't be there without air-conditioning (which it had).

It is a good hotel for transit, but for longer stays with the family the rooms are way too small. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but you could find things to eat for every taste.

The object was clean and there was a parking for the guests which is a plus.

Bathroom - shower door broken, and the bath floor was moving as you step on it + very slippery. Beds - you fall inside of the bed, and you have to be careful when stepping out because it's moving with you. Breakfast - disappointing. Sausage and salami plate always empty, no variety, every day the same, eggs, sausage, butter, marmalade, that's it. Rooms have windows on the joint patio and restaurant terrace. You have to have curtains if you don't want to be seen by people passing by. Also, in the evening/night, it's very noisy. Hotel staff apparently allow people to sit there in the passage where they drink, smoke, and speak loudly. It's impossible to sleep. Maybe this hotel is good for one night sleepover, but in comparison with some other 4star hotels in Pecs, I would say that it's too expensive.
