Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

DenmarkThe guest bed was awful — it felt like lying on cement. The bed linen didn’t fit properly around the corners, so you’d wake up in the middle of the night all sweaty, lying directly on the leather sofa. Accessing the room required using a phone, which barely worked — only one out of four phones managed to connect, and even then, with a success rate of about 25%. Fortunately, we eventually received plastic key cards. Unfortunately, we experienced two separate incidents where staff — either a cleaner or someone else from the property — entered the room despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being clearly displayed. This happened while some of us were still asleep, and the others woke up in shock as the door was suddenly opened and then quickly closed again. It was deeply uncomfortable and felt like a serious invasion of privacy. On another occasion, we specifically requested cleaning, but the only thing done was the trash being emptied — nothing else was cleaned or replaced, even though more thorough service was supposed to be included.
I really liked the location — it was convenient and close to everything we needed. The fact that they had a pool was a great bonus, especially on the warmer days. The price was fair for what we got, and the room itself was good, including the bathroom, which was clean and functional. Overall, it had the essentials for a comfortable stay.

IrelandPool is tiny and not anything like whats in the photos. Room size is adaquate .Shower is a disaster, its in the bath and sprays out onto the bathroom floor (direction not adjustable). But the biggest complaint i have is how complicated finding and checking into the property is. Multiple emails from SWU rooms from the time of booking (16). way too many. You have to download an app and scan your photo ID to check in as there is no reception at the property. If you have no data on your phone when you arrive you are in trouble. You then use your phone as a keycard to access your room. This did eventually work for us but i never really trusted it totally. I think SWU rooms should consider creating a short video describing how to access the property (two different entrances with different access codes) and how to use the app to check in and open the room. This would make everything a lot clearer and would save on multiple emails that might get missed. There is a reception in a nearby property 2 streets away open until 8 pm and we did visit here and get a "proper door keycard" just in case.
Location is excellent, very central. Room is clean and aircon works very well. Kettle and coffee maker in the room as well as a hairdryer and an Iron and ironing board also has a smart tv for Netflix Youtube etc. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Close to public transport. 10 mins walk to the bus to the airport. Generally quiet from outside noise.

BelgiumI only got the info there is no physical reception after booking. Only access through an app you need to download. Room access with the app. Although I found the location very easily after the clear info I received, I could not enter the room. I tried all their instructions, but it seemed it was not my phone/ app/ connection, but it didnt work, so I got a physical card! They came and needed only to wait 5min so that’s positive, I was helped very fast, but lost much time with this app you need to download, although I did everything in advance before arriving. Not very well indicated eighter in the building. I lost between 45min-1h after arriving before I found and could finally enter the room.
Very good location, nice swimming pool with a vieuw. I have read in comments there would be no chairs at the pool but this is not true. As other permanent residents can use the pool too, the relax chairs are even ‘for guests of SWU rooms only’. Always fast answer by whatsapp from the staff, since there is no physical reception. If necessairy they are coming over in a few minutes only!

RomaniaThe parking lot is really small. If there s another car near their space, you cannot even open the doors to get out. If you have a suv or bigger car, it s impossible to park. The door wich opens by bluetooth (wich is working really badly) did not open. We had to wait for the poor girl to come and give us a card and I m pretty sure it wasn’t the first time that this happened. It s really frustrating and all the information in that stupid app are so hard to understand.
It was comfy and the location is great. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. The girl from the reception was very kind, unfortunately she s not responsible for the issues there.

United StatesI didn’t put a clean room sign and yet the cleaning ladies kept interrupting my sleep. There was no “do not disturb” sign. Please provide one. It was weird and scary to wake up to someone opening my room especially because I was alone. The place is very much a budget hotel. My toilet was stained and the shower didn’t have a door so the water got all over the bathroom floor.
When I got there they gave me a room that smelled like cigarette smoke. I told them and they quickly changed me to another room. That was very nice of them. The staff was very friendly and communicative.

IsraelEntry to the room is via NFC and requires an internet connection, and we weren't always able to connect, and the NFC wasn't always picked up either. Fortunately, we contacted the staff and a representative arrived quite quickly and brought us a card. Without the card, we were often unable to enter the room.
The location is great! Close to everything - nightlife, restaurants, major sites, public transportation. The room is small but very cozy, the staff was courteous although not physically present there.

Room was cleaned but small, without a wardrobe and the bathroom smelled of smoke. 400 euros for 3 nights - I do understand it was Easter weekend - were not worth it.

SwedenIt is not a hotel. No reception, so it is sometimes a challenge to reach to responsible persons. Unfortunately the hotel or booking com sent more than 15 emails for my booking. When you work hard daily after second email you stop reading all. And one of those emails was telling how to enter to building and I tried to understand how to enter to the building at 11:30 pm with two kids when I arrived. Entering was one challenge than you need to reach people to find your room and the key. This also took some time. I can also say that the room pictures at booking com was better than reality. If you want to have breakfast voucher you always need to organize it with the responsible person via phone to get your breakfast vouchers.
Hotel was at the center and close to the famous places to visit. Room was clean. They had an agreement with restaurants close by for breakfast. They provided vouchers for the restaurants that you select (there are more than one restaurant option, we had tried 3 different restaurants for breakfasts and all of them were ok)

RomaniaParking good; but very claustrophobic; but I managed to park my 4.7m car. The communication was bad. I got very long messages via booking chat and email and it was a complete pain for me to find the information I needed in order to checkin. Just say this: Entrance A: address/ gmap link and code for door Entrance B: adrdress/ gmap link and code for gate Parking through entrance B; level of parking number of spot; Extra charge for parking. Reception is at different address: gmap link And follow up with: Your room is Number, Floor, Building A or B. Its enough; dont send people 10 big messages with fluff; then the room with number floor building etc on a different communication platform (aka email) in one of the 4 sent emails. How am I supposed to piece the puzzle pieces together without going find waldo after a 10h drive. Their app doesnt load; sometimes it does load if i close it open it and close it; i managed to do the checkin; Some cleaning staff helped me find my room number as I was lost in finding the information I needed. Their staff was kind
