Not a great fan of showers in the bathtub, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Breakfast was excellent and very satisfying. Parking outside the hotel was easy and convenient.

The hotel was perfectly located to walk to everything! The Wollners are the best hosts and do everything to help you have a great stay. Our rooms were beautiful and our breakfast was excellent! We highly recommend Hotel Wollner.

What a wonderful hotel! The building has an interesting history and the owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay so welcome. It’s perfectly located in the old town and well worth a visit… especially for our first trip into Hungary.

Niki was a great host. The hotel was lovely and centrally located in the old town area of Sopron. The breakfast was always very good with fresh cooked eggs each morning.

Sopron Old Town and Hotel Wollner are what you imagine of a little town in Central Europe, kind of like the town in "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang" but without the scary Child Catcher! The hotel is scrupulously clean, the rooms have character. In so many, especially chain hotels, you get into the room and you feel you could be anywhere in the world they are so anonymous. Not so here. Niki is the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Ours was only a one-night stay, but it was a very enjoyable one. Breakfast was of the continental style, buffet service, and plentiful. It was included in the price we paid.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of the old town. The beds were super comfortable, and the staff went out their way to help us up to the top floor to our room with our heavy luggage.

Perfect hotel right in the city center. It is located in the old historical building, which makes it very athmospherical. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Staff are super kind and pleasant! They met us, told abouth hotel and house's history, showed places to visit and nearby restaurants.

Tiny thing but the breakfast is good, not excellent. I think that most people will be happy and it is good value for money. Small buffet covers the essentials. They offered us freshly cooked eggs and ham too. If I ever come back to Sopron I won't even consider looking for another hotel- this one is perfect. :)

Wonderful hotel experience. Perfect location in the middle of the old town and silent at night. Our room was massive and very elegant, it felt like we were staying in a palace! The staff are wonderful and will make you feel at home. It's a truly family run business and you cal feel thay it's a special place. Great heating and lots of storage in the room - more than my bedroom back home! If you needed to work from the hotel the desk in the room is brilliant too.

The atmosphere created by their wonderful furniture and friendly environment lifted our spirits to a height which left us feeling rejuvenated and happy. We needed my husband’s German to communicate with the staff.

Nice location in the old city. Charming hosts. Good breakfast. Spacious room. Good value. Our host spoke little English but spoke to us energetically in Hungarian which was sort of amusing.
