“Stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful - when there was an issue with my original room, I got a free upgrade no questions asked.
What made this place special was how welcoming the owner was. Got great recommendations for local food and places to visit, plus help with motorbike rental for exploring Dieng Plateau. I even had a fun jam session playing angklung with my ukulele - such a cool experience!
The location is perfect too easy walk to town center with lots of yummy traditional food nearby.
Felt like staying with family rather than at a hotel. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again!”
“We had a wonderful stay with Fajar and his lovely family, who were welcoming, friendly, and truly made us feel at home. The room was very comfortable with its own en suite bathroom, and we could also use the kitchen and dining room.
The house is in a beautiful village just a short drive from Wonosobo. Fajar speaks excellent English and happily took us to local restaurants as well as on tours to tea plantations, temples, and waterfalls. At one waterfall we were incredibly lucky to see endangered Javan lutung monkeys—a real highlight!
The authentic atmosphere without other foreign tourists made the experience even more special. Overall, a truly memorable stay and highly recommended”
“The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice of Indonesian and options for those who don’t want that. The location was great as well. I booked the superior room with the Mountain View, which was lovely.”
“Fajar is an amazing great guy ! His help and advice during our trip was realy appreciate! He help us to rent a scooter, see the main area around Wonosobo and show us the main local food.
He was helpfull for other subject like understanding Indonesian life ! Bref, really appreciate !”
“Lovely homestay, Fajar and his family are super friendly and welcoming and took very good care of us without being pushy or oberbearing at all. He showed us around and even picked us up where our bus dropped us off and later took us and another guest to have dinner in the city, he arranged transport to our next destination etc etc. Really super helpful and nice, and he gave lots of recommendations what to do in and around Wonosobo - he offered a whole guided tour and was very transparent about the prices for different activities, and he was super helpful when we decided to explore Dieng on our own instead and dropped us off at the bus stop for the local bus we wanted to take. I really can't thank him enough!
Facilities are perfectly fine, everything is very clean, breakfast was superb (local food, of course). Everything you want from a homestay!”
