A truly luxurious holiday experience. We came to unwind, and that’s exactly what we found. The staff were outstanding - attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner offered good variety and quality, while the cultural entertainment and events added a special touch. The spa was wonderfully relaxing, and the cocktails were simply delicious. The free shuttle service to Ubud central came in really handy. Everything came together to make this the perfect getaway.

Loved my stay at Abisena, the property is beautiful with epic views over the rice fields and jungle. The pool area was stunning and the perfect spot to chill out and recharge after exploring the area. The spa facilities were also fabulous and the room was spacious and well appointed with a very calming and relaxed atmosphere.. What stood out most however was the friendliness and excellent service of the staff. 100% Recommend this property.

Nothing we didn’t like The air con was a little temperamental towards the end of our stay it was making strange noises. Unfortunately the last 2 nights of our stay we had guests above us who sounded like they were rearranging the room all night which hindered our sleep. This isn’t the hotels fault at all but a suggestion could be to put something soft on the bottom of chairs/tables so if guests do feel the need to rearrange the furniture at midnight then it doesn’t scuff the floor or bother the guests below as much 😂. There’s quite a lot going on at the hotel and we weren’t aware until our last night they have canapés every afternoon/evening and there is also a free cocktail - we might have been told this but we arrived at 2am and were half asleep.

Stunning resort - picture perfect hotel. Pool area was beautiful, it isn’t huge but it is very quiet as some rooms have their own pools. We stayed a week and I had around 3-4 afternoons by the pool and had it to myself! The sunbeds are really comfy too. I am not sure how many rooms they have in total and they had only been open a year when we visited so not sure if they were full but I think you got a lot in terms of the views and the jungle pool without the busyness you’d get at a jungle/pool club which makes it so much more lux. Rooms - huge rooms, great big comfy beds which they cleaned/remade twice a day with fresh towels. Huge balcony space with the sound of the river running by and room always stocked with water. Breakfast - there was a small buffet style (pastries/fruit) and then hot food was ordered off menu but they were happy to alter things and this was delicious - especially the crispy eggs Benedict! We haven’t had a breakfast this way before in a hotel, usually it would be all buffet style but it was all cooked fresh and was very tasty so we thought this worked really well and stops waste too. And all enjoyed with a beautiful view. Staff - couldn’t do enough for you, helped us renting a motorbike and generally nothing was too much. Very welcoming and always cheery. Other - the food in the upstairs restaurant is amazing, we would usually go into UBUD but we had an early start one day so stayed at the hotel for food the night before and honestly was one of my favourite meals. The lounge food is a bit more chilled but still good. The location is around 25 mins from UBUD so you would probably need to rent a bike/or get a driver to get around and see the sites but I think it makes for a lovely Calm and quiet place to stay and relax after busy days in the hustle and bustle. Spa - good gym space and very quiet. We used the jacuzzi it wasn’t too warm but it was a nice space.

Loved the property. My only slight issue was because the building our room was situated in was lower down in the forest with resulting higher moisture in the air, there was a damp and musty feeling on the bedding. Did not detract from the lovely room. Not sure anything can be done about it either

The spa was dreamy with the water sounds coming from the waterfall created by the design of the pool, the outside areas were spectacular, the food was different and yummy, the spa treatments were vast and soo relaxing. Bed was so comfy!

Fantastic staff -very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too difficult or too much Very peaceful and relaxing resort-in a beautiful and tranquil setting. A short distance from Ubud centre but the complimentary shuttle was very useful.

The room was quite musty - Ubud had experienced quite a lot of rain before we arrived so that may have been the issue. This didn’t impact our enjoyment of the resort as everything else was so incredible but it would be fantastic to see them address this going forward.

We loved our stay here. The staff were incredible and the environment was calm and peaceful. The spa facility was next level - my day spa experience was unreal. Such a great place for couples. We would definitely come back!
