Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GreeceIt was a little expensive!! Considering the cost, it would be a lovely touch if a short complimentary 1-hour massage could be included daily.
Our stay was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The room was very spacious with tasteful decoration, giving it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pool area was absolutely wonderful – beautifully designed and perfect for relaxing throughout the day. What impressed us the most was how spotless the room was, always kept perfectly clean and comfortable. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile and make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality really made our experience even more special. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to others

United KingdomWe had one minor issue with noise which was rectified. Overall the property was calm and relaxing.
We had a one bedroom villa which was so lovely. The hotel grounds and bedrooms are decorated beautifully. We loved the food at the restaurant and by the main pool, which was also stunning. The team were extremely accommodating. The shuttle to Ubud was helpful and the team did their best to help with any queries or recommendations. The spa is also stunning. The hotel overall is relaxing and very beautiful. There are a few places in walking distance and Ubud is very close.

CroatiaNo gym, although there is gym available in sister Adiwana hotel acceoss the street. It can be used for free, so this is not real minus but I would love if there was a gym within the hotel.
Our second time here was amazing again. Very nice jungle pool, kind staff, decent food options. Nice, spacious and clean room. Everyhing looks like they take care. I’ve stayed at many places in Bali so far, but this one is my favorite balance of location, beauty, comfort, kindnes, food… The place is simple and amazing butique hotel. It give you immersive jungle experience and still very safe from wildlife (if you know what I mean).

Hong KongIt was all fantastic.
The property is a short drive out of the centre of Ubud (the hotel provide a shuttle) which is good as it feels calmer, more local and like you are in the middle of the rainforest. My favourite thing to do was to sit by the infinity pool which overlooked the trees and which had big floats in which you could chill out on. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We had a small problem with our room and it was dealt with swiftly, professionally and we were very impressed. The food was great and we would highly recommend the half day tour provided by the hotel. We loved this hotel.

United KingdomThe breakfast was a bit underwhelming, excluding the smoothie bowls, which were amazing. The location is decently close to Ubud town and the nearby rice fields, but getting anywhere else is a pain due to traffic at all times.
Absolutely out of this world - great staff, beautiful scenery. I felt fully taken care of here. The receptionist, Rika, went above and beyond for me. Not to mention the surprising upgrade I received upon arrival after a very long journey - it was absolutely the cherry on the top. Their juices are incredibly fresh and tasty as well.

KazakhstanThe hotel territory is small, with no real walking areas inside; outside is just a narrow street with no sidewalk, and it feels risky with passing motorbikes. Also, when we checked in, we were given a room with one king size bed, even though we had specifically searched for and booked a twin room with two separate beds. The hotel offered an upgrade upon check-in, but that room also had just one bed, so we declined. We were moved to the correct room only after two days.
The best thing about the hotel is, of course, the staff - most of them are around 20 years old, all proactive and friendly. Special mention goes to a guy named Gede - an excellent guide for Ubud, as well as Balinese traditions and culture. Be sure to book this tour through the hotel. Delicious à la carte breakfast is available until 11 PM, which is very convenient if you go somewhere early in the morning (like to watch the sunrise on Mt.Batur) and come back later - you can still have breakfast. Tea and snacks are served on the terrace from 3 to 5 PM. Lunch and dinner from the menu are tasty and relatively affordable, and there’s a BBQ on Tuesdays. There’s live music almost every day and sometimes traditional dances. On Tuesdays, there’s also free yoga, and private classes are available for an extra fee. The hotel’s location is great- just 10 minutes’ drive from the center of Ubud, yet in a quiet area. The hotel offers shuttle service to the town. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily, comfortable bed, and have everything you need. The balcony overlooks the garden and pool, and since it’s away from the roads, there’s no street noise, just the sound of birds. The spa is decent, but the foot reflexology was a 6/10.

United Arab EmiratesMinor complaint but our room seemingly had an iron from 50 yrs ago. Very small, light, weak, and no steam. So if you have any linen to iron, you may not get the result you want.
Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating , always happy and smiling. They will arrange a tour of Ubud for you, book a dinner in town for you, so on and on. The room we booked was vast and worth every penny.

IndiaWe stayed in the One bedroom villa with the private pool for 4 nights and had such a wonderful experience! Sharing a few inputs below incase anyone needs to refer before booking: - The villa itself itself is quite large with a reasonably sized private pool. - The bathroom was stunning, quite large with a bathtub placed in a space that looked like a private garden! Just gorgeous with a tropical feel! Loved it! - The service was flawless to be honest. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Rika who was our butler. - My daughter fell down and hurt her knee during one of our site seeing days. The hotel was able to arrange, betadine and some bandages very quickly which was very thoughtful and highly appreciated!. - Food was truly excellent! We had some of the best poached eggs and French toast during our stay! Truly a feast for the senses! - I found the veg options to be good! We didn't have any issues during our stay as the hotel was able to customize some dishes for us! (Veg pasta or pizza by removing the meat, etc) - Spa was great as well. I enjoyed a very nice relaxing Balinese massage! - The hotel is appx 2 kms away from the Ubud market. However the hotel has a free shuttle service every 2 hours that guests can use. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Especially if you have young kids, do book the one bedroom villa with the pool and you won't be disappointed! Thank you Adiwana Unagi team! We had such a blissful stay!
