Location to the yoga barn, the pool area, the rooms were big & clean and the spa was really nice. Food was good too! Staff were very attentive & couldn’t do enough to help.

I think the coffee and breakfast could be better- if it is not included in, I would not dine there because of the variety, taste and portion of the food. However the staff was very professional and kind.

Excellent location on the main street but when you enter your hotel it is an oasis- very quiet. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spotless clean and they kept the standard throughout our stay. We went there for our anniversary and they kindly presented us a lovely cake.

Dinner was hit and miss.

Fantastic Service and communication. Excellent Hotel and Staff. Highly recommended. If you are a regular at the Yoga Bard its just accross the road as well.

Breakfast didn’t have a great variety compared to other hotels of the same range and didn’t live up to my expectations, but this is a personal view that should not be a deterrent. Traffic in the area is a lot worse than anyone would expect, so avoid coming in/out of the hotel during peak hours, meaning leaving the establishment before 07:00 and returning after 22:00

Conveniently located in the heart of Ubud, rooms are very comfortable and super clean, the staff will go beyond their normal routine to make sure you have a great stay and experience overall

The resort was lovely and the room very comfortable. The turn down service was an extra special touch. The restaurant on-site was delicious and the service was absolutely amazing- especially Agung... He looked after us very well for service and also offered some great things to do in Ubud.

It was our anniversary, when I informed the hotel, they prepared a special flower decoration on the bad and also a complimentary anniversary cake in the room. They also upgraded our room. Personnel and Spa were also perfect.

There’s nothing I can think of. Everyone seemed to know exactly what they were doing, really professional.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Everything felt calm and peaceful, especially in wing 3 where our room looked out over the forest. I honestly can’t describe how beautiful that view was. The whole place has a quiet, relaxing vibe that made it really easy to unwind.

The location! The breakfast! The spa!!! The pool was amazing too but unfortunately we couldnt swim due to the horrible weather conditions. And the restaurants and cafes in the facility were amazing.

Our family of five (two adults and three teenagers) recently stayed at Alaya Resort, and it ended up being our favorite hotel in Bali (for reference we also stayed at Courtyard Seminyak and Hyatt Regency Sanur also great stays). We were looking for something that offered the feel of a villa with the convenience of a hotel—full staff, gym, and a central location—and Alaya delivered on all fronts. The rooms were uniquely designed, and ours overlooked the pool with a great view of the surrounding rainforest. We had two adjoining rooms—one with a king bed and the other with two twins, plus an extra bed added for our third child—which worked perfectly for our family. Service was consistently friendly and welcoming, and the hotel restaurant was excellent. For the quality and location, the value for money was outstanding. Our only regret was not staying longer. The location was another plus - just a short walk to the Monkey Forest and surrounded by some of our favorite restaurants in Ubud. We didn’t opt for the included breakfast, but it was easy to grab a bite at one of the nearby spots or downstairs at the hotel. Also next door to a nice convenience store (Coco Mart) so easy to grab snacks, money from ATM, etc).

There is nothing we did not like! We honestly liked everything about Alaya Resort and will recommend this resort to everyone who will travel to Ubud! The hotels and resorts in Europe can really learn a lot from your hospitality!

Review Alaya We stayed at the Alaya Resort to start off our 3 week vacation in Indonesia. And our experience with them couldn't have impressed us more. The whole team is so pleased to serve our every needs and requests and made our stay so warm, and welcoming. Besides the gorgeous property and sightings, the location is perfect with everything you would need. The supermarket is around the corner with an ATM for international creditcards, souvernirshops at walking distance and great facilities in and around the resort. The spa was amazing! The massagetherapists were very knowledgable and very skilled. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, as they daily added different things to their menu. The staff is kind, engaging and their costumer service is on point every time, even with our special requests regarding the birthday of my sister. You do have to consider that the traffic is jammed at almost every hour of the day so traveling by car will take longer than expected. We loved it here, and we hope to visit again someday!

Although breakfast was good, the other meals in the main restaurant were mediocre, and eating at the adjoining Pison restaurant meant long waits.

This hotel was fabulous. The staff were outstanding. I think if I were to visit Ubud again I would prefer a hotel further away with a view from my room and a view from the pool (which would mean the inconvenience of a shuttle into town). But if being within walking distance to all the attractions in Ubud is important, then Alaya Resort Ubud is a fantastic choice.

Insuffienct interior lumination Electric plug was not available near bed

Staff was great, detail oriented, they have discovered my friends birthday from her passport and organized a surprise birthday cake in breakfast. Breakfast alacarte menu was remarkable. We also tried spa couple massage and it ws really memorable. Location was excellent, walking distance to monker forest and downtown.
