How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness from every member of the team. Despite being alone, I never once felt lonely—the staff truly made me feel at home. Their attentiveness and friendliness were beyond compare. A lovely surprise was the complimentary 15-minute massage that came with my booking. Since I was travelling solo, they generously extended it to 30 minutes—a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly cared for. The spa experience was serene and professional, a perfect start to unwinding. Room service was efficient—no long waits or delays—and the in-room phone butler service was a unique and convenient touch whenever I needed anything. The room itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, calming, and peaceful vibe, ideal for doing some inner work and self-reflection. What really stood out was the team's attention even at check-out. I was allowed to continue enjoying the resort facilities after checking out, and they offered me a refreshing complimentary iced tea while I relaxed before my departure. The farewell gift they gave me was so thoughtful—it truly touched my heart and capped off the entire experience in the most memorable way. This resort is more than just a beautiful escape; it’s a place filled with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially solo travellers looking to recharge, reflect, and be surrounded by good energy.

Verified reviewBeautiful little hotel with lovely staff. Everything was perfect - beautifully presented meals at their restaurant (Nori), lovely room, cute pool. We used the shuttle service which goes to/from Ubud three times a day. We also booked an 8hr day trip to East Bali and the cost was better compared to taxi or external tour. Adhi drove and spent the whole day with us - we really enjoyed his company, he took us to lots of different places, gave us recommendations and shared a lot with us about Balinese culture. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating - special thanks to Risma and Noulam and the Nori staff, Candra and the front desk staff, and of course to Adhi!

Verified reviewOne of the best stays we’ve had – everything was perfect! We absolutely loved everything about this hotel — from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. First of all, the welcome was wonderful. All the staff were incredibly polite, warm, and friendly — everyone greeted us with a smile. The reception girls were amazing and made us feel truly cared for. The property is not big and cozy, which gives it a special charm. The only thing we didn’t expect was a small construction area on-site. But honestly, it was barely noticeable, and the noise didn’t bother us at all. It’s worth knowing that the hotel will soon become even bigger and more beautiful — we’re looking forward to seeing it when it’s done! The restaurant was simply outstanding — every meal was delicious, and the breakfasts were exceptional. Truly a highlight of our stay! We also want to give a big thank you again to the reception team, especially PRAMI, and to the management, who went out of their way to accommodate a special request we had. It really made our stay unforgettable, and we left extremely happy and satisfied. I’m more than sure that not every hotel offers such a high level of care and service. Another special highlight was the spa, which I visited four times — and each visit was pure bliss. Huge thanks to KANTI, who truly helped me relax and forget about everything. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. For future travelers: the hotel offers small rooms in the main building, as well as standalone cottages and villas with private pools. The absolute highlight for us was the One Bedroom Pool Villa — it was incredibly beautiful and gave us that perfect, peaceful getaway feeling. Some reviews mentioned that there’s nothing nearby or nowhere to go — but that’s absolutely not true. There is a lovely local Indonesian restaurant within walking distance, and getting to the heart of the area takes just 10 minutes by car or bike.
