There were some stains on the sheets. The linen and towels were old and worn out. Local construction noise during the day made it difficult to relax.

Friendly and attentive staff. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Overall excellent value for money.

We had an upstairs room and it was very noisy as we could hear the people below us who were laughing loudly at 5.30am and using the TV in the evening. I’d recommend booking a single story unit, also because the staircase to our room was steep and rickety. The room was lovely abut the bathroom was a bit scruffy.

Great location slightly north of central Ubud which is very hectic. Very comfortable bed and lovely veranda to sit on overlooking a gorgeous pool. Helpful staff who booked us a sunrise tour to Mt Batur. We ate all our meals at Labak Sari Warung which is the best restaurant for ambience and food that we’ve eaten at in Bali and it’s in walking distance of the JJ Ananda hotel.

Pool didn't look like it was cleaned regularly so we didn't have a dip.

Lovely cottages in Ubud, slightly out of the centre which meant it was away from lot of traffic. Breakfast was on point. They had the loveliest kittens staying there who were beautiful and friendly. Helped with scooter hire with was cheaper than others in town.

The rooms were so loud, if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay maybe it’s not the best option since I was even able to hear my neighbors sneezing. Unfortunately the room was full of bugs and geckos since it was in a rice field so it’s fine there was not much to do. But the location is a bir middle of nowhere. There is almost nothing around. For a short stay (2nights) it’s a good option

The breakfast choices were very basic. Everything else about the hotel was as I expected.

I wanted to stay away from the busy part of Ubud, but close enough to take about 10 minutes on a motorbike taxi to get into the centre when I needed to. The location was perfect. It was quiet and relaxing. The room was traditional style and the buildings were rustic and charming.

Some spaces could have been cleaner (found an old bandaid), the door to the bathroom was so hard to open and close and so noisy. The ac was also very loud but we did not need to have it on for the night so it was not a real problem.

Very nice and calm location a bit outside the city. The swimming pool was so nice as well as the decor of the rooms. The staff was lovely and we had such a nice stay.

They didn't provide Netflix or similar subscription. You have to use your own account. Also, I didn't get the room I saw on my booking page, and the AC wasn't that cool. On my last stay, the water stopped running in the middle of the night, and there was no staff to get help from. I had to walk to the neighboring Ananda villa complex to find help.

If you’re staying for a short time, the breakfast if great, however if you’re staying for multiple nights then the breakfast options is limited, but not such a big deal. Reason why I’m not giving 10 starts is because: The ac is a problem during the day, as soon as it gets hot outside the ac doesn’t work at all and is not pleasant staying inside the room as it gets very hot and humid, so what’s the point of having an ac during a hot day if it doesn’t manage to cool the room? They can offer a fan as a backup but that’s not the best option unfortunately. So if you’re planning to rest in be during the day, I guess you won’t be able to do so due to the heat.

Absolutely stunning resort at a very reasonable price! The atmosphere is amazing and the area is fantastic and quiet! Extremely clean outside and inside, they regularly clean your room and the whole place to ensure the best experience. The swimming area is great too! Tasty breakfast and they offer many services, such as airport transfer, scooter rentals, tours and many more activities. The staff is amazing, extremely friendly and polite and always available during the day.

The staff weren’t very present but this didn’t bother us too much with only staying 2 nights and never knew if the restaurant was open or not.

The property was in a good location over looking the rice fields so was a lot more peaceful than central Ubud but still close to things and a shop within walking distance. The pool was relaxing and had spa facilities on site, which were ok.

It is great stay in a quiet area - only a 10-minute bike ride to the busy Ubud area—also a minute's drive to the beautiful rice terraces. Very clean rooms and friendly staff.
