How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

The place is basic, and while I didn't mind, you should be aware that they do not have hot water. But with the heat, it isn't really necessary.
The location was perfect. Close to the train station, and within working distance of many good food places and the main street. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Just cold water in shower, but it’s ok for me in this crazy hot climate.
All good, I had everything I needed, easy check in. Perfect location to catch an early train to airport. Beer available at the reception 😉

Cold shower.
House's design decoration and plants. The receptionist is so helpful. Thank you. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the station.

The shower was not heated, and you can hear other guests in their rooms. But I don't really mind considering the price.

I knew there would be no hot water so that is fine. The room was dusty and I have doubts about the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Amazing location, great for 1-2 nights to then move on. Staff is nice and accommodating. Ok value for money

There is no hot water for shower. I stayed 4 nights. Of course once I get used to it, it's OK. The weather is hot and the water is not icy cold. It doesn't feel too cold.
Great value. super close to the train station if you are coming from or returning to YIA airport. The hotel is in the little alley right across from train station exit/entrance. strong wifi. Friendly staff. Walking distance to Getyourguide tour meeting point. Strong AC for my room.

I did not like the place around the property , rats were walking with us and for sure this is not related to Andrea hotel . If you can’t afford ( I could not ) this kind of environment it will be stress for you .
People in this facility are really good , I had some crisis but the owner himself called tried to calm me down . Thanks to him and i know I was aggressive and I am sorry for that . The guy on reception also good . Compared to area the place was nice cleaned , the only issue was internet and hot water .

The room had no ventilation as its an internal room. But it's OK for short stays. The hotel has a lovely outdoor area to chill at, but sadly the hotel across from it (not Andrea hotel) keeps a bird too big for in a small cage right in front. It's super distressing to see the bird (or different birds?) struggling every morning, screeching trying to find a way out. Not sure what the point of this display is, but it's not Andrea hotel doing this, however depressing to see this everyday.
This is a locals hotel. It's no frills, but super clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Because it's in an alleyway it's quiet (apart from loud guests that turn up.) The front reception folks are so lovely and will try and help you with any questions you have.

The room and bathroom were very small and a little old, but for the price, it was good value and fine for a couple of nights.
Excellent location, close to the train station, markets and sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room is not easy to ventilate so it smelt a little bit stuffy

The mattress was ok but the bed frame has seen better days so felt a little unstable.
