New ZealandDid not realize the hotel had 2 pools , we used just the one near the dining room and it was lovely.
Snorkelling was really good and it can all be done from the beach, so you don't need a boat. However there are 4 main sites so a boat can take you to all in 3 hours. If you were going by motorbike or car it would take more time. But you can access all the sites from the beach. Hotel was a central location right next to turtle beach and we went out 4 times and saw turtles each time.

South AfricaAs can be expected of most rental units in Bali, it is not maintained to a point but it is clean.
The owner is very involved and the staff is amazing. Willing to go the extra mile and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and everything to do is in reach of this villa with a little supermarket and some restaurants a stone throw away. Scooter hire and transport can be arranged at Anugerah. I will stay there again.

United Kingdom🗑 areas around the property were unkempt with lots of rubbish 📍 very far from Amed town, you cannot walk 🥴 got a weird vibe from some of the staff, was a little bit uncomfortable and unprofessional 🥐 breakfast is very limited (pancake or plain omelette) 📷 some of the photos used on booking are a little deceiving, it does not look the same (the photos might even be of a different place??) ⭐️ But other than that, the rooms are nice and come with free drinking water, and the views are nice. Relatively good value for money.

SpainOn the other hand, the place is not so close to Amed town centre and you’ll definitely need a bike to move around. We were also given a different room than what we booked for the first night and then got moved the day after, so there was a bit of a misunderstanding there but the owner kindly offered us a suitable alternative for the first night (it was just a bit annoying having to move).
The pool views were amazing and the property is located at a walking distance from Lipah Beach, which is a brilliant spot to do some snorkelling on your own (equipment can be easily rented at the beach). The area feels much more local and everyone is so welcoming! Also loved sharing the place with a very friendly cat they had around :)

NetherlandsThe shower was attached to the wall and pointed at the toilet, which makes the toilet little bit wet but the space in front of the toilet as well. But we just got extra towels and that worked fine for us. We saw sometimes an insect, but it was nothing to be bothered about for us.
The staff was on top of everything! The pools were clean, if not they cleaned them immediately. Mosquito net and AC worked good. We also had a kitchen with a mini fridge, which was nice. Cute balcony with gorgeous view on Lipah beach. Putu was eager to help organise anything. Breakfast was simple but good and fresh. There was warm water in the shower.

AustraliaI stayed in the ocean view upstairs room & it’s perfect to gaze out over the ocean. A big room with off set kitchen with blender so I could make a smoothie or my own meal if I didn’t want to go out as great fridge. Bed comfortable, bathroom serviceable - bit old but everything clean and works. 2 swimming pools! Short 10 min walk to limpur beach, on the way you go past the Wellness Hub & Spa which seriously give the absolute BEST massages and I’ve been coming to Bali since 1986!!! Balinese is good but the deluxe reiki with Balinese is sublime!!! Staff friendly… Putu exceptional goes out of his way to help however he can - changing money, finding pillows that suit you, even being on site when I arrived at 4am. He is a fair and just man. This is not 5 star, but very good value and I would recommend for long stays as internet is good & all is comfortable!

SpainThe Wifi in our room close to the pool was weak, sometimes broke off. If you have a problem with insects, you might not feel comfortable during rainy season with a lot of worms walking around the terrace... But it's pure nature. 😅
The view to the jungle and ocean was beautiful, there is also a nice public rooftop terrace with beach views. Try the lovely banana pancake for breakfast. Bed was quite confi, too. Some noise from outside during the night.

GermanyThere was a bit of smell in the bathroom. I could feel it especially in the mornings but it was not too disturbing for my stay.
Beautiful spacious rooms, mine was directly at the pool with a spectacular view at the mountains and the ocean. The staff was very friendly, they fixed the shower in the first hours after i asked. The breakfast is simple but good and can be served right at your small terrace. But most of all I'm very thankful to the owner that was of an incredible help when a friend of mine from the neighboring room had a scooter accident. Thank you!

United StatesBetter attention to detail would make this a really nice property. Close proximity to the road is not optimal, but it's very quiet at night.
Beautiful property with very good views from the upper floor. Needs some updating and attention to detail, but the price was appropriate for what it was. Putu was very helpful and responsive on any issues or requests which came and offered to provide rides to ATM and another neighboring beach. The closest beach has black sand, which is nicer than other beaches nearby, and is within a few minutes walk. It also has pretty good snorkeling right of the beach. There are many restaurants and warungs nearby, within walking distance.

LatviaUnfortunately we had to change the room 4 times until we finally got a room with a view we payed for and actually working air conditioning. Wifi works well most of the time, but it all depends on the room an time of the day.
Amazing view over the bay and mountains night and day. Very nice breakfast with juice included. The place has 2 pools that you can choose between depending on the location of shade. Affordable scooter rental included.

FranceWe have had bad experiences by this accommodation. The worst part was the dirtiness level of the bathrooms. They were gross. We took some pictures as proof to be considered by other potential guests. Cleaning was only done at the minimum in the bed room. We found bat droppings everywhere on one of the balconies. There was 100 x 50 cm bat shit covering the balcony's floor. There were many old & dirty things (leaking boiler, broken window frame, dusted kitchen utensils, etc). Staff seemed lack of experience in hospitality industry. Nobody cared about guests wellness. What the management cared most was only offering us activities for their extra money. Comments on Booking.com do not reflect the reality: comments on Google reviews are much more accurate. The owner, after being told of dirtiness issue, didn't offer an apology and didn't give instructions for things to improve. It seem to us this was done on purpose, to make guests leave after paying the whole stay. It is what we did, in order to enjoy our holidays. We decided to leave the Anugerah Villa on August 8th for a much better, cleaner and more welcoming place. So it means we have paid for 17 nights but only stayed 3 nights there. We had to stay there for 3 nights because I was waiting for delivery of my luggage due to flight problem. Please refund the rest of 14 nights that we haven't used.

United StatesUnfortunately, the stay was marred by a less-than-ideal check-in process and persistent issues with the room door lock. Despite the spaciousness and amenities, these inconveniences overshadowed the positives. While the accommodation might be considered good value for the money, similar options with fewer hassles can likely be found elsewhere.
Anugerah Villas boasts a scenic location overlooking the ocean, though the journey there is bumpy due to the road conditions. While the room itself is spacious and offers a kitchen and balcony with a nice view, the overall condition feels a bit outdated.
