The swimming pool is ice cold. The restaurant feels rather cold and impersonal. The staff are friendly and the food is fine, but the atmosphere is not very welcoming. We stayed with four people in two rooms for two nights and had no hot water for both days. We reported this to the staff. The problem was not solved, although they did offer us an upgrade and another room. For us this made little sense, since on the second night we only needed the room to shower before our 23:50 flight. Still, I believe that a hotel of this level should not treat the absence of hot water in multiple rooms as a minor incident. If several rooms are affected, something is technically not working as it should. I expected a partieel refund, because you book a room to 1) sleep en 2) to shower.

As a tourist it is never easy to decide which hotel to book in Jakarta, so this was a bit of a gamble. A very good one. The location is simply perfect. Within five minutes on foot, faster than taking a taxi, you reach Lotte Mall where you can find everything from breakfast to dinner. It is the perfect starting point to explore Jakarta further. The hotel itself is much bigger than it appears on Booking, and that turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

The overall room was clean, but the bathroom needed a bit of freshness. The room was pretty dark because of a lack of lightning. It is possible to work from here, but your eyes may get tired. There were also some small ants, especially if you left something sweet on the table.

Clean and pretty quiet room with a view to skyscrapers. I was comfortable working remotely from here. The staff was nice, and the local gym with restaurants is pretty, although the gym needs a bit of renewal. The location is near lots of shopping malls and 20 minutes from the city center by taxi.

No Netflix and TV channels are boring. It would be nice if the room had an option to access Netflix or other streaming services, as well as washing machine .

I traveled to Jakarta for a week for work, and found that Ayaka Suites met all my needs for a business trip. The hotel was located in a convenient location near many malls and cafés, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was decent. The room has all the amenities one needs, though they can be a little old. The hotel also has a gym, spa, swimming pool, and a rooftop terrace with excellent view of the Jakarta city skyline. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Ayaka and will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The breakfast would be better if it had more options, usual for classical breakfast: more eggs, porridge, yogurt - things like that. For me it was quite unusual to start the day with pasta, noodles, variations of curry and some local dishes, which are completely unknown to me. Though I appreciate new things, it would be good to have options. The swimming pool is really small and it is just in front of the restaurant, so it is not entirely comfortable to swim and relax there while being surrounded by a lot of people having a meal. The swimming pool is a nice addition to the hotel's infrastructure, but if you are specifically looking for a hotel with a swimming pool maybe this is not the best choice then. The shower is fixed on the wall and the glass door shielding it from the rest of the bathroom is way too short. It is possible to have a shower without flooding everything around, but it requires some effort.

I really enjoyed the room: spacious, full of light, with decent beds and fresh sheets, the air condition functioned just right and the view out of the window was marvellous. The cleaning was every day, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The building of the hotel is nice and accurate, to me it actually looked quite fresh and very clean. I have not seen a single insect in the building, not even mosquitos or flies, which was also very good. To me it seemed like a superb value for money.

The rooms were clean but somewhat dated. In our room, there was a small section of uneven flooring and the toilet cleanliness was not the best. Closest mall requires alot of walking and we'd rather take a grab, but we were aware of this before booking. It was an okay stay for 1 night.

The noise from the mosque right next to our window. Bad soundproof and TV not connected to channels in English. Quite far from attractions and from public transport and not a very pleasant surrounding but if you use grab it's OK and value for money very good
