The lodge was perfect for our stay on Karimunjawa Islands, the lodge very cute in the greenery and clean, the staff was so nice, breakfast great. It was a little away from the road so quiet.

The only thing I would recommend for improvement is to put mosquitoes net.

Very Nice place ! You can rent a scooter immediatly at the hotel.

Near to beach end center, so friendly and they really help us a lot with motorbike, food.

It was not that clean, with cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom. Also the cabin was very nice but the sheets smelled a little bad and looked dirty.

Truly it was one of the best stay for me in whole Indonesia! All place is beautifully designed with all details! In this small houses you can truly rest and have some tropical vibe. Is very close to city and harbour which make transportation very easy. Host is more than helpful!

Right off the boat, Redy was standing there with his big smile to pick up our bags and a scooter that we could rent troughout our stay. We had the superior room which was large and right next to a chill area where I enjoyed my delicious breakfast every morning. I started my first part of the holiday in Karimunyawa, and couldn’t be happier with Basi Basi being our first stop. Due to the bad weather the ferry didn’t come for 2 days, keep this in mind in case you have a flight booked too tightly! Basi basi gave us the room for 2 extra nights with a discount and even went to the market to have an awesome bbq together, thank you again for that.

That we couldn’t stay longer

The property was like a mini paradise in paradise! Our bungalow was super nice and clean. The staff were amazing and super friendly! Not to forget the amazing breakfast you get served every morning :) The location is also perfect because it’s close to the center and a 10 minute scooter drive to Sunset Beach. You can rent a scooter at Basa-Basi which is definitely recommended when you’re on the island. I didn’t catch the name of the cat but he/she is so cute! Hopefully we’ll return to Karimunjawa and we’ll definitely stay here again :)

Cute lodge with an outdoor bathroom that gives a feel of staying in a nature. Room and the bed is really comfortable, we slept so well every night. Fredi was such a nice host and very helpful with recommendations. We arrange scooter and boat trip at the hotel directly, which was very convenient. Breakfast was superb too.

Lovely staff, super cute bungalow, great breakfast

The staff is amazing, super nice and helpful, and overall the place is really cozy. It is just a 20 minute walk from the port, so it's really easy to get there. We could organise activities like snorkeling and renting scooters directly with the hotel, making the process really easy and convenient, and the host gave us a lot of suggestion on nice beaches around. We even decided to extend our stay!

Perfect location, beautiful hut, relax vibes, delicious breakfast and lovely service! Highly recommended!

Everything was great here. The bungalows are very nice and simple. It doesn't get too hot thanks to the AC. All the wonderful people who work there are very nice, helpful and cook you a very tasty breakfast every morning. We would have loved to extend our stay there.

It was great. A perfect backpacker accommodation with modern jungle vibes. And the owner is so kind and sympathetic. I would recommend it to everyone I like 🥰 the breakfast was fresh and great, too. (pancakes, waffles,… )

If we returned to Karimunjawa, we would definitely stay at Basa-basi🌿. The place is beautiful! You are in a very cozy spot, well-decorated, and surrounded by greenery. Also, the breakfast is amazing. We got to try both Indonesian breakfast and toast and waffles. On the other hand, the staff is lovely. They advised us at all times and, on the last day, we got the ferry time wrong. They took us running, and we managed to get there in time to catch it. So, thank you! ❤️

A perfect stay - we could have easily extended our stay if we weren’t on a time crunch. Our hosts were incredible in recommending where to go, eat and see.

We loved the cute little bungalows with private space with almost felt magical when we made our way there. The breakfast was a breath of fresh air - not typical Indonesian but more individually created every morning. Host was very kind, helpful and supportive. Scooter rent directly at the Homestay possible.

Loveliest place to stay in the island 🥰 food choices in the island varies but not many fit to our preferences, yet this lodge served delicious breakfast ✨ the manager was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we come back!
