Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsBathroom is outdated and a bit moldy. You have to hold the shower head when you want to shower and there is almost no water pressure. For the price we expected a bit more.
The bedroom is nice with beautiful jungle view. Staff is very kind. Possibility to rent scooter for reasonable price.

New CaledoniaToo cold and rainy to use the pool but when Icone back to Ubud I will come back here!
Nice room upstairs in the trees. Quiet, away from the road, but right in the centre of town. Spring water pool.

MoroccoTo be honest, it was the worst hotel I stayed in my life, I don't know from where to start. 1-the location is inside a tight street which is very dark during the night walking where you may face lizard. 2- the room was very very very dirty, and I mean it, the side tables full of dust, the bed sheets with blood dots and bugs. 3- the washroom is a disaster, you just need to wash your hands and it's full of water in the floor. The bidet is really dirty you can't even use it, we didn't take shower during our stay as it was disgusting. 4- the ventilator is full of dust+ the room smells Humidity and moisture you can't imagine how it's strong the smell, as we bought some diffuser to use it to help us sleep. 5- the breakfast was very limited, my husband didn't trust the hotel and didn't accept to to try the breakfast saying look the hotel how is dirty, so the food will be the same. An advise to the manager, try to spend a bit money to clean you hotel and for the maintenance as it's not possible for a human to sleep there. The most disgusting stay in my Bali's experience. An advice for the Booker's, DON'T EVEN THINK TO BOOK HERE. Regards.

United KingdomAll good!
Amazingly quiet despite being close to the action. 5 minute walk to the excellent Sayuri restaurant which has live music every night, superb healthy foods and is an excellent place to people watch mostly young pretentious westerners who do no-one any harm and add some spice and energy to life.

United Statessame breakfast for 11 days
We were greeted with kindness and care when we arrived. The staff allowed us to check in an hour earlier, which we appreciated greatly. Location is great, the hotel is in center of Ubud, but it is hidden from the human traffic. We enjoyed breakfast and dipping in the pool. Our room was a good size, comfortable and clean.

IrelandSometimes quite a few ants coming into the room around the doorframes but staff do their best to prevent this with sweeping etc, also this is expected in most accommodations here so wasn’t a huge problem for us.
Gorgeous accommodation in the centre of Ubud but away from all the noise and madness!! Lovely pool, spacious and really comfortable bedrooms with lovely decor, great breakfast (fruit bowl, eggs toast and avocado, tea/coffee) and pleasant staff. Would highly recommend!! Amazing value for money.

CanadaThe only surprise was that the showerhead sits low, so you either use it handheld to wash off or sit in the tub so it's at head height! And no curtain or anything so it can create a bit of a mess if you're not careful but that's pretty common in Bali! Other than that it's great!
Absolutely stunning spot and peaceful location. The fresh spring water pool was refreshing for a nice morning dip and it feels like you're in the jungle with the beautiful surroundings! Super kind staff, great breakfast, spacious room and bathrooms with hot and cold water to shower, solid wifi connection, and a perfect location to walk to whatever you need while still feeling removed from the hustle & bustle of the main roads. Having stayed in multiple other spots in Ubud it can sometimes be hard to find a quiet spot where you don't hear the cars or motorbikes - but this spot was perfect! I even extended my stay for a month because I liked it so much :)

United StatesThe Nest was amazing, the staff here are a dream and go above and beyond. As they're a new lodging, I strongly suggest supporting them, the area is perfect for walking around and seeing nearby temples and it's also tucked away so you feel right within the jungle, get no sounds from the street. The staff are all absolutely lovely, the rooms are nice and clean and the pool is a spring water pool -- strongly recommend! I will come back when in Ubud to stay here and only here, there's nothing more I need. What a lovely space, very happy I found it!
