Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. SpainThe owner was not too keen on helping and also was not clear about the meals that you are supposed to have there but are not included in the price shown on the booking. If you decline to have that extra service, the owner will seem annoyed, but for avoiding misunderstandings in the future, he could mention it on the booking page prior to booking. Having misunderstandings on the checkout when you are in holiday is not nice. No signal at all, paid wifi also not too nice.

GermanyThe resort is in a very poor condition. You have to pay extra for the meals, 150.000 IDR per day. The meals were allmost the same, day by day. As a result I can' t recommend this resort, sorry. Hermann the German.
The staff was as friendly as helpful. The communication among the guests was really great .

Beautiful location and vibe, there is a small beach to lie on when the tide is out and good snorkelling just out the front of resort, all cottages have a gorgeous beach front view, communal meals with other guests are nice, food is good and with some variety, there are day trips available, the manager was very helpful in arranging boat transfers and assisting with things, Thanks Crispin:), this is one of the more affordable resort options to stay in the Togeans

IndonesiaThe bedsheets were not very comfortable. In the afternoon during high tide, trash is often brought ashore by the currents. While this in itself isn't the staff's fault, the beach should be cleaned more often. No standing fan & ceiling lighting.
The food and the staff were awesome, especially the manager, Ais, who helped us arrange our transport (among other things). We had a wonderful time with the other guests, and the staff even arranged a small party with local arak cocktail and a seafood barbeque over a bonfire by the beach. It happened to be the night before all of this round of guests had to leave, so it made for some wonderful memories. All in all the atmosphere was great and it was very welcoming.

ItalyToo dirty (bed bugs, cockroaches and other insects) all across the room and bathroom and basically everything from common areas to rooms need structural restoration. The owner seems not really interested in anything concerning his guests or so, employees stands in the relax areas of the resort making it busy for clients. The resort has a great potential and should be exploited!

FranceThis place is clearly focused on diving activities. The amenities need some renovation but still ok.
The location is great - in front of the ocean. Snorkelling directly from the beach or at short boat distance is fantastic. The staff is kind, the place is clean, the owner helpful and the food above the average. The customer reviews are not reflecting the standard of this resort. It is far better than described. You are in Tiguan islands - Indonesia - not in five-star destination. Some customers seem to have difficulties to understand it.

DenmarkThe owner is dishonest, does not help his guest with questions related to their travel and tries go overcharge. In the end he cancelled our trip with booking.com the day we left. He said he did not what to pay commision and we should just agree with this when asked by booking.com. We have travel for 30 years in 60 counties and the rooms (and our experiences with the owner) at Black Marlin are among the worst we have experienced. The rooms are very dirty, extremely smelly and musty...
