This is an exceptional hotel. The owners have made a really beautiful place with the architecture, art pieces, plants and water features. The hotel owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We were in Jepara looking at the locally made furniture (wow) and the introductions from the hotel owners made it enjoyable and productive. We've stayed in some lovely places and the Blue Garden is outstanding.

Noisy mosque, but it's Indonesia, so it's normal

Beautiful hotel, great food. If you're staying in Jepara, it's because you're going to Karimunjawa, and you will have had a hot, dusty and long trip. This hotel is a perfect clean, cool and comfortable refuge to sort you out.

Jepara in general isn‘t a Highlight but if you need a place to stay before going to karimunjawa this is perfect.

Souper nice garden with a big pool. Everything is really well maintained and it‘s pretty to look at. Rooms were also pretty big and clean. Nice staff!

Nearly new, very tastefully designed hotel with excellent staff, fantastic pool facilities, excellent breakfast. Very well designed and equipped room. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Next door is a mosque with prayer calls at the usual hours.

Noisy — women chatted right in front of my room until 1am and kids started shouting by the pool at 6am. Staff unable to speak English which made communication difficult

The only thing that lets the property down is the pool unfortunately it was very murky we did not feel it was clean enough to swim in such a shame as the sun beds and surroundings are beautiful

A beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds with beautiful finishing touches throughout. Rooms are very clean and secure. Staff very welcoming and attentive during our stay. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious thank you.

Unfortunately, the hotel is right next to a mosque and the chanting went on from 2:50-4:00. I could not sleep so I watched some TV. I was completely exhausted in the morning and checked out even though I was not sure I would receive a refund. The room is also fairly small, just enough space for the bed and a suitcase on the floor. I am accustomed to more space when I stay in the area.

Ramadam time, we cant sleep, but it is not the hotel fault, the muezzin was very loud. The hotel mentioned this in advance and day also offered ear plugs.

Very cozy, clean and sanctuary family resort. Garden, pool area and rooms are designed with lot's of attention for the details. It's obvious, that this retreat is owned and managed by italian owners. Food menue is small, but at least real authentic italian pasta and Pizza available. Beaches are just in 3 minutes walking distance. Breakfast (local or western style) with fresh fruit platter and salats was available. Good WIFI coverage and smart TV with netflix and amazon prime in every room.

Very well thought out, tasteful lay out. Beautiful details in the design and nothing left to chance. Great Italian food menu, very welcome after 5 weeks of (very good btw) Indonesian cuisine for the weary Western traveler... Super kind staff and to top it all off the kindest and most hospitable manager/owner we have ever met..

The adhaan from nearby mosque was really loud and woke us up every night. However there were free earplugs in hotel room. We visited Blue Garden off-season so the Hotel restaurant didn’t offer everything from their menu.

Beautiful Moroccan details! Cozy bed and pillows. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom and good water pressure from the shower. Short drive to Jepara center and harbour.

Beautifully and recently created. Loved the pool and the plants and the ability to also work with decent wifi. Though it was the owners and family (and the rest of the team) that really made it. They helped in more ways than we would have anticipated. Would definitely return.
