Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaMy husband put it perfectly - “you get what you pay for” - it’s extremely affordable, compared to anything I’ve seen in ubud. But it has its flaws which is why I think the price makes sense. Firstly, the cabin is a tiny home, so of course you already knows it’s small, just don’t be naive when it comes to the photos, it’s a lot smaller than the pictures, especially bathroom space, holy moly was it tiny, like literally touching the walls when trying to sit on the toilet. Secondly, many ants, kept finding them in our bed, we kept spraying bug spray in some spots but they find their way up somehow. Thirdly, the bed was kinda killing our backs, there’s no where to sit really so spend a lot of time on the bed, it’s so hard and thin, so if you’re fine with mattress firmness then it shouldn’t be a problem. Lastly, the food wasn’t bad, but my husband and I weren’t feeling 100% and the food was just really making us more nauseous and some foods (for e.g. pasta) tasted really weird and smelt bad. A lot of their simple Indonesian meals were good though, I just would say avoid a lot of the non-Indonesian meals. Sounds like a lot of info but hopefully it’s helpful!
I looooved the views, the front (when you arrive) is abit deceiving - making it seem like it’s small with just a few cabins around but as soon as you start walking on the stairs it feels like there’s hundreds of cabins haha, was incredible views, just full blown jungle surrounding, streams, so much greenery, the rain makes it feel magical, and we had a cabin with the outside spa and oh my goodness - we’re happy we got it because it was nice to be in the fresh air while relaxing. P.S. it even more prettier at night because all the cabins have aesthetic lighting and the stairs and paths are all lit up.

IndonesiaIt’s better to inform in advance (before check in) that app is needed for download. Otherwise you have to spend time on reception, dealing with it. Also there a butter in breakfast that mentioned in menu, vut in fact it’s local margarine. Small thing but spoiledimpression
Style, Wi-Fi, cleanness. You can manage some facilities by the app (order food, turn off the light, lock the door, blur the window).

United StatesBetter mosquito nets/windows blocked with some form of net. Put a net on the front door to the cabin as well as bugs and ants were everywhere.
The Indonesian breakfast is much better.

IndonesiaIt is not recommended to stay in the lower cabins because they have a lot of steps to go down and are quite tiring, especially for you who has problem with your feet/knee. Apart from that, the pillows not really comfort due they are too thin and small, at least there are 4 pillows per bed or the quality of the pillows can be improved.
Staying here is really refreshing, the location a bit far from Ubud Centre but that's a great choice to get away from the crowds and it's very quiet there. They also have friendly staff, Overall Good!! We Love It !!

New ZealandEverything... This is a con as far as I am concerned
After travelling and using booking.com for many years now this is the worst property I have ever come across. It is false advertising as to how big the cabins are... tiny! Go at your own risk and book if you like it. But I would recomend booking maybe 1 night and see if you like it. Its a long way out of town. I didnt stay, lost my money and ended up somewhere 10x better.

United StatesWhile the location is a bit far from central Ubud, it's conveniently close to the iconic Tegallalang Rice Terraces.
Mornings were refreshing—you can go for a 5 to 10 km jog in the cool, crisp air. The cabin has a large window right next to the bed, offering stunning views to wake up to. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. We’re also enjoy their meals, just good :)

SingaporeOverall, it’s a great place for young travelers. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for elderly guests, as there are quite a few stairs which may be challenging to navigate.
I absolutely loved this place. It's peaceful, innovative, and exceptionally clean, with a thoughtfully designed space that truly stands out. If you're looking for a relaxing and unique stay in Bali, this is the perfect spot. Just a heads-up: access to your room is done through their app, so it's best to download and set it up before arrival to ensure a smooth check-in. Also, double-check your room type before booking to make sure it suits your needs. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience—I would definitely come back!

ChinaThere are quite a few stairs, and the hot tub cabins are located on the lower level. If you’re traveling with the elders , this may not be ideal. However, we finally choose cabin at upstairs because we were with our granny.
This place is great spot for short getaway, near from Tegalalang Ubud and so peaceful. The cabin is equipped with cool technology, allowing you to enjoy the terraced rice field view, cause we upgraded to family cabin which is a bit bigger than normal one and the location at the up near of lobby.

IndonesiaMy second stay at Bobocabin property in Bali, my first stay at Bobocabin Kintamani was amazing, so I decide to try another stay at Bobocabin property in Ubud. My second stay, at Bobocabin Ubud, I had a the best sleep experince here, the sound of nature very peacefull. The cabin has a relaxing ambience with amazing greeneries view, comfortable, bright and airy. You will woke up by the natural sound of birds, what a rare moment. The cabin had a ample of outdoor areas for having a bbq dinner or just having an afternoon tea. Also, the cabin had en extra digital facilities, starting from check-in process, open and lock the door, turn-on and turn-off the light, change the windows type, f&b order, host contact, all in one apps (this facilities is my favorite). So, before check-in, please make sure you have Bobobox apps. All of the staff was incredible - they were there for anything I needed. Fantastic and excellent service from the staff, starting from booking step until checked-out. The location in a not crowded Ubud areas, perfect view & calmness atmosphere will heal your stressed out. Definitely, a trully mother nature healing experiences.
