The bathtub was a nice surprise! Room was clean and spacious. Friendly staff and can rent motorbike. Central location so you can walk everywhere

Was a bit noisy right next to the road and watch out for the cheeky monkeys!

Perfect location near the Monkey Forest, close to the bazaar, directly connected to the main street, and surrounded by spas and restaurants.

The AC didn’t work properly, making the evenings uncomfortably warm.

Location is the key. Also very memorable were the views from our room over Ubud and the guests, the monkeys. What a great balcony/terrace!

No breakfast is a major blow as most hotels offer breakfasts and other bf in the neighborhood are quite pricey.

My room was massive with a double, double bed! Which was super comfy too. I had a little kitchen too, which was very handy (fridge, kettle, cooking facilities). The room was clean, including the bathroom. The balcony was spacious too, but be warned the cheeky monkeys will pay you a visit. I could've sat there all day & watched them, so cheeky & very naughty-fabulous! The hotel is central to everywhere. It's right in the middle of all shops & restaurants. I got a public bus from Kuta (easy enough). The bus dropped me off at Monkey Forest. You walk up a hill & the hotel is just on the right. The WiFi was great, too. The guys at reception asked me most morning if everything was okay. It was. I can't fault this fabulous hotel. It's ideal for staying in Ubud with an extra bonus of the monkeys. I have no idea why this hotel doesn't have a higher rating. It's a wonderful place to stay. I'm a solo traveller & I felt extremely safe here (including being surrounded by monekys).

This is nit picking, I know. The smell of the bedding was a little musty, but tbh I had the same experience with another hotel in Kuta (I'm guessing it's a thing in Bali).

Comfortable beds with duvet and soft pillows, WiFi was pretty good. Room was cleaned every day and towels were changed twice in 8 days. Hot water and always a spare toilet roll in the bathroom. Location was perfect. Big spacious room.

Monkeys on your balcony!

Room was spacious with a kitchenette, comfy bed good location walkable to the Main Street with restaurants and cafes and shops

The balcony door wouldn’t shut properly if you shut it from on the balcony making it a risk with monkeys

The rooms were very basic but it was clean, the air con was good and the location was great, just off the main street close to everything so for the price really can’t complain! It’s worth noting it’s so close to the monkey forest and they could be very noisy particularly at night so maybe not the best choice if you are a light sleeper!!

Not really anything I didn’t like but a shower curtain would be great as it was hard not to flood the bathroom whilst in the shower

One of the highlights was watching the monkeys jumping around the area, even on the balcony, which was quite a unique experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were kind. Location is perfect. Overall good for what you pay.

The cleanliness could be improved. Even after the room was cleaned again the next day, we still noticed some black hairs on the bed and floor that didn't belong to us. We had one room upstairs and one downstairs; the downstairs room had a bit of a moldy smell. There were also some stains on the towels and bedding.
