Unpleasant smell coming from the sink and bathroom as a whole could use some renewals. But all good for 1 night.

Simple accommodation, with a comfortable bed and warm water. The B&B is right off the main road, so walking distance to restaurants. The owner organised the sunrise tour for us which went smoothly!

The bathroom needs some renovation and the floor is always flooded because the water from the sink flows on the bathroom floor. We didn't have a mirror in the room.

The room was very basic but good and comfortable for 1 night. The shower worked well and we even had hot water. The staff (Sunny) was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also good for the price and the location is central.

I recommend 100%, the staff are very kind, the rooms are good, just little bit cold during the night but I think it’s like that everywhere because you are at 2200m altitude !

As someone from Europe, I don't really like finding a wet toilet seat upon arrival, but I learned that you see that sometimes in Indonesia.

This is a modest place to stay - we knew that ahead of time - but it did not disappoint. Rooms were generally clean and the bedding was good for the cool nights up at Bromo. Shower was hot - though other family members in other rooms had to alert staff to make it happen. Staff were accommodating. The small breakfast of a fried egg sandwich with a few fries was welcome.

The beds were fine. However, the bathroom was subpar, with the shower water cutting out within 3 minutes of use and never offered warm water. Additionally, the room was damp with limited plug sockets.

This location was very good and for a very fair price. Additionally, the staff were really friendly and helpful, giving us the best tips for how to travel around Bromo and connect to the surrounding areas.

As you can expect it is not a 4 stars hotel but it is everything you need! The bed was comfortable, the hot water was working well and the place was very clean! Special mention for Sonny was an an incredible host, super friendly, very helpful, great chats and the best tips! Definitely recommend the place if you’re not after a palace.

The room does not have amazing lighting but this is really not that important as most clients stay for one night, and hike the Bromo.

Calmer street, comfy bed, hot shower, and kind staff! Also a cute brekafeast (small but thoughtful).

The noise because of the traffic during the night. Hopefully the hotel is not on the principal road, so it is better. I can’t imagine the hotels around the road. The smell in the bathroom. But it is the same everywhere in town. So it is the best hotel you can sleep next to Bromo for this price.

We have spent a nice night there. The location is perfect, really close to Bromo by walk. We woke up at 3pm and hiked Bromo during more than 1h. The host is super helpful and lovely. He will reply to all your needs and requests. He also made everything for the breakfast (eggs, tea, coffee, toasts). The room is clean and comfortable.

The sink in the bathroom can't be used because the faucet and the pipe lack, so you have to use the shower every time...but it's something you can overcome, especially if you stay for only one or two nights.

The position of Bromo B&B is great, close to main services. The host is really nice and kind, you can ask you any information you need and he is helpful. The room was clean and there was hot water for the shower.

It really isnt too bad. There isnt much up there and the room was very clean, the bed was comfy and the blanket was also warm enough and clean. We even had hot water to shower which was unexpected. Sadly no toilet paper though but the typical asian hose to clean ;) Dont expect too much from the breakfast but good enough ;) For one night to do Bromo you can definitely book it. We could even borrow winter jackets from the host directly, even after arriving at 10:30pm in the evening.

If you're looking for a stay in Cemorolawang, you gonna know that it's a basic one. And that it gets cold at night. So if you brought warm clothes (which you should, if you want to see Bromo at sunrise), towels and maybe a small mirror with you, you're good to go :D

Maybe I was just lucky or maybe they changed some things up in the last few months, but I had none of the problems that I read about in the other reviews. There was hot water with great water pressure, good WLAN, a tidy room with fresh washed beddings. No toilet paper at first, but the staff was happy to bring some.
