The stay at Bubu Suite was amazing! The staff was extremely kind, they helped us to organise a scooter for the day, taxis, massages and tours and were always there when we needed something. The hotel itself is wonderful, not too big but with very spacious, well maintained rooms, a beautiful pool and a calming atmosphere. The breakfast selection was great as well. Overall one of the best hotels we stayed at during our time in Bali!

only a small complex of 8 villas all with charm and cleanliness, great pool and gardens maintained. Breakfast was a great selection and worth the 100IRP. Walking distance we managed into Ubud central daily, using our phone torch to navigate at night. 8-10mins was all that was required. Quicker to walk than catch Grab or taxi due to heavy traffic. Would stay again. Lovely staff and nice to stay on the outskirts of town.

The pool and the garden are amazing. We order a floating breakfast and it was spectacular. The breakfast is very good. Rooms are large, very clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly, smiling and helpful. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be back next time.

My main complaint is the air conditioning. Even though it was working, it had an old, sour smell. With three days of pouring rain, the room got so humid that all our clothes ended up damp.

The location is no better or worse than most places in Ubud you’re not going to be walking much anyway. The traffic is busy, and the city lacks a proper center or walking paths. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant offers good prices, but the food is average — not something I’d want to eat every night. Breakfast is fine, but instead of offering four set menus, it would be better to simplify things and offer one choice per category (e.g. eggs, toast, fruit, drink). Overall, it’s a good price and I would recommend it.

I am charmed by this hotel!. Well-maintained establishment, tastefully decorated and clean. Super welcoming and friendly staff, impeccable and well-equipped suite. In addition, very good 5* breakfast served "à la carte" (What a joy! Take advantage of this because it is increasingly rare!).Very good food for dinerr! I highly recommend without hesitation.

Nothing at all! It’s about a 5/10 minute walk from the main shops in Ubud so if you don’t want to walk I would say that’s the only downside but it’s got the most stunning view of the Forrest and hills as it’s that little bit out of the central, but the walk was very manageable and lots of convenience stores and amazing cafes right outside regardless!

Everything! The property was stunning, it had everything you could possibly need while there! The staff bent over backwards to help you but weren’t pushy and gave you plenty of space to yourself as well! They were so friendly and the facilities were fantastic! Will definitely be going back!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Bubu Suite. The room was clean and tidy, the team were very friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. Being just out of the main town, it felt very peaceful and quiet. It was nice to retreat back to the hotel in between our Ubud adventures. We look forward to returning!

The only downside I could notice is that the bathroom did not have ventilation system. However there was a small window opened. So it was ok. Otherwise highly recommend this place

Clean room, great location and friendly staff. With the great option of hiring a motorbike. Aircon in the room was a life saver during hot days! Loved swimming in the swimming pool.

Loved this little hidden gem. Honestly cannot fault the place. We had a ground floor pool view room and it was just amazing. Clean and professional staff. The breakfast every morning was exceptional. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend. Had no issues with any insects or food. Local to the town.

The staff are amazing; so friendly and helpful. Great location; situated on the edge of Ubud so it was nice a quiet, but still walkable into the centre during daytime and taxis always available after dark. There are some really nice restaurants extremely nearby also.

The best stay. Location is very calm and close to Ubud palace with walking distance of 20 minutes. Very much a boutique style hotel . Well maintained surroundings and the lush greenery surrounding is perfect to relax.

Fantastic heaven of peace, only 8 rooms so it doesn't get very busy. Within walking distance from Ubud centre although it's better to take a taxi/Grab (very cheap). Staff very friendly, breakfast/food EXCELLENT at better prices than most of restaurants in Ubud.

I originally booked this place for four nights, but kept extending my stay and eventually stayed for three weeks :) The property is well-maintained, quiet, with spacious, comfortable rooms, a clean pool, and the hotel has its own restaurant with a wide selection. It's also close to the center of Ubud. Ideal for families, couples, or even solo travelers. The access road, which some previous comments mentioned as being in poor condition, is actually new and well-maintained.

This place was just perfect for me to get some work done as they have proper tables and chairs in the rooms. It's located closes to the centre of Ubud - only 4 minutes by scooter. The staff was amazing and the rooms clean and comfortable. They have a pool with a stunning view into the jungle. Also, they offer massages in the room.

It’s owned by Balinese, the staff are friendly and helpful, it’s very quiet, you can’t hear any traffic - just birds; there was a big area looking out over the rainforest where I could do yoga by myself in the morning.

The bathroom smelled a little weird, the bed was a little loud when you moved around.

The pool was great for adults and the kids. The staff was very friendly, acted quickly and was helpful.
