I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! While it’s located a little outside the Malang city centre, the peaceful surroundings make it a lovely spot to relax. The host is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything you need. They also organise fantastic tours, including paragliding trips, Mount Bromo excursions, and city tours around Malang — all at very reasonable prices, with costs shared among guests. The owner Riny is truly hospitable and takes care of everything, making you feel right at home. In the evenings, you can order delicious food right at the property, and there’s also convenient parking available. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and memorable experiences in and around Malang

Casa De Vie was a wonderful homestay with an even more amazing host and staff. Felt truly welcomed into Malang and was given a wonderful overview of the town despite only having a short stay with them. Will 100% come back!

The scooterride to one of the most important sights (the colorfull village) is a little bit long. But on the way you get a feeling of thenl city, and your passing some beautifull rice fields.

The place looks very cosy and nice, and felt homely because we were immediately greeted with some freshly cooked delicious food and by Devie the owner who is very nice. She took us on a tour through Malang which was really a different experience for me: because she knew the best places, what food to try it was awesome.

The place was amazing, we felt at home, but most of all, all the staff was so helpful with everything, especially Marcella! We kept changing plans and they kept helping us out! Located in a nice calmer neighborhood, its definetly a must during your stay in Malang!

The water on the second floor bathroom was kind of clogged, it took a few minutes for the water to fully go down the drain since the cover was partially blocked by all sort of dirts. My advice for the owners would be to clean it more often and pay attention to the rusts in the sink.

The place is nice, clean, and comfortable as described. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The location is quite strategic. It's about 20 minutes to the downtown. You can find culinary easily around the place. They also have a carport if you drive your own car. They also provide a complete set of kitchen utensils.

They were renovating at the time so was a little noisy - very apologetic about it though and happy to stop if it was too disruptive (worth it too because the property is looking so nice!)

Highly recommend! Devie and Setyo were super accommodating, we even got welcomed with donuts!! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer time, Setyo gave me an Indonesian cooking lesson :) the room was really nice and clean too (really comfy beds). Thanks a lot - we will be returning :D

We had a wonderful stay at this charming new homestay! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. What really made our experience special was the lovely guide who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The host was equally welcoming and made us feel right at home. Although the homestay is located a bit outside of the center, it’s quiet and peaceful — and the value for money is absolutely amazing. For a newly opened place, everything was well thought out and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, affordable, and authentic experience!

It's closer to the city and quiet gated community. Found it very safe for a solo traveller. Love the slow vibe that I found at the place and malang.
