Country heritage Hotel - a review I stayed in the Country Heritage Hotel for two nights and enjoyed my stay, with some reservations. The room was fine, Large with a large bed and usual facilities, but the maintenance and the upkeep of the hotel is something that needs some attention. Its obvious that the building is being run into the ground, because of the lack of repair and painting which desperately needs to be done. The staff working in the hotel were fine, especially the young ladies at reception who spoke good English and I was able to make my needs understood The Buffet breakfast on both mornings were exceptional, There were wide variety of dishes and because I arrived early I was able to enjoy them in peace and quiet. The BBQ in the evenings was a little disappointing, I would have preferred to enjoy some BBQ chicken or similar and other dishes such as Sate’s. Being so close to Madura, some Sate Madura with peanut sauce would have been a delight. The swimming pool was also an enjoyable facility but the lack of shade meant that the water was really too hot to be refreshing, some shade cloth would be a good idea. Also some pool side service would help their cash flow ! The location of the hotel was acceptable, considering that Surabaya is the second largest city inIndonesia. I left the hotel and caught the train to Jakarta. Would I stay there again, yes I would, but hope that some repairs and painting would make this old lady a little more welcoming !

South KoreaI will list out everything here: 1. Wifi is very bad, could not connect when in my room. 2. Dirty pool, everything is dirty and old, I have more evidences but I can not post more than 4 pictures. 3. There were rats and cockroaches outside my room they were running like crazy, bugs on my bed also. 4. Used mask in my room when I first check in. Room 2002!!! 5. I asked for breakfast at 9:30AM and staff said "Sorry breakfast time stopped at 9AM" , I'm totally okay with that and willing to pay money instead of free breakfast which I should have received. Even when there's still food on trays, I asked if I can pay so you could make me something but he refused and said "Kitchen people are very busy right now....!!!??? " 6. I asked for hair dryer because there were no hair dryer in my room. I called the staff and they said I have to RENT hairdryer for 20.000rupiah...I'm okay with that but they did not send me my hair dryer. 15 minutes later I called again and they said "Okay we will send you hair dryer" but I did not receive it. 30 minutes later I called again and they said the same thing but nothing ever came. When I check out they still asked for that "20.000 rupiah" haha . CRAZY!!!
I did not enjoy. And don't recommend others to stay here.

IndonesiaIt’s very unpleasant experiences, the room is outdated, the shower handle was broken so is very dangerous if young kids touching it and can tears/cut they skin,shower pressure and sink water is not so good , you barely can shower properly, the towels and blankets smells weird, the WiFi connection is very very Poor, and swimming pool water is very dirty not cleared. But overall the staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish in the future the management can fix all that problems above regardless any type of rooms the guesses in.

IndiaThe rooms were in bad shape. In my first room, the flush wasn’t working, the air conditioner wasn’t working and even the linen was dirty! Mechanical and bathroom issues can happen, but how can linen be dirty?! I paid extra to upgrade my room and even there the air conditioner would take several hours to reach an acceptable temperature. Basically, the rooms in this property are in a really shoddy condition.
Though my overall experience was bad, the staff there were really really good. They were very friendly and courteous and they did try to help us out as much as they could.

HungaryDear Booking! I would like to report this Hotel is absolutely not acceptable for any guests! The room was very dirty and disgusting! The air-condition was dirty, it was not look like to be cleaned anytime. The reading lamps was damaged - it’s a safety issue. Although we try to stay (we arrived in the late hours, around 11 o’clock, we were very tired) but we couldn’t. After we turned off the big lights bed bugs appeared - it’s a big health risk for everybody who stay there. We ask another room - I think the issue was not suprised for the staff - they give the ‘deluxe’ but it looks like the same - dirty and disgusting. So we decided to leave them, we just give back the key and go to the nearest Novotel hotel. The Hotel now is look like a ruin, not like on the picture! Maybe the pictures created by Photoshop, or 20 year ago, I don’t know and I don’t care already. But I’m very disappointed and I don’t know how they can work with this health risk! Please check the hotel!
