Apartment layout, size of the rooms and pool. Lighting.

Kitchen has not been maintained. Majority of the kitchen furniture and pottery was not properly cleaned. Caterpillars everywhere around the apartment. Neighbours playing music so loud that it becomes unbearable. Breakfast has limited selection. Neighbourhood looks bad, lots of garbage around, nearby beach is dirty.

Nice size, good amenities. Lovely staff. Close to shops and restaurants. Moped/grab ride to Bali collective and Nusa dua beach. Good late check out time.

Would have liked to be able to access Netflix on Projector. Beds were quite hard. Breakfast was not great, opted to eat out most mornings. Multiple sockets not working in the main living area/bedroom

The best thing about this villa was the swimming pool.

One of the rooms smelt really bad, damp all over. The bathroom smelt bad, too. Breakfast wasn't great. Fruit also had a flavour of mould/damp. Staff helpful but also struggling to speak english. We managed to change the villa after the first night, and the smell was much better. I wouldn't pay this amount of money next time for this villa, as the best was the swimming pool.

They have serious issues with water pressure from current and past reviews. We checked out early with no hot water or pressure and they blamed the guests. Cost me over $2000 for 1 night stay and refused to refund. Cockroaches in the kitchen and on the cutlery. Beds & pillows were like rocks. Breakfast was stone cold. Location felt like a ghetto. Projector played dvd’s only and primarily Russian. Host was present sleazy with females shirt off and spiking about the villa’s. Absolutely ruined my family vacation. Staff were pleasant and tried their best. Poor communication following check out. I wish I’d never booked this Villa… and will never be back again. If your Villa is not ready to accomodate guests stop charging $460 per night and fix the maintenance issues that plague this property.

    See above - disgraceful

    Property response:

Dear James, Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Indeed, the hot water storage unit malfunctioned on the evening of your arrival, and we regret the inconvenience this caused. Our team identified and fixed the issue the very next morning. You did not inform us of your intention to check out officially, You also did not return to the villa afterward, even though it had been reserved for you. Later, you requested a refund through Booking.com without any prior communication with us regarding your departure, while the villa remained unavailable to other guests. Regarding your claims: • Our pillows are soft and regularly praised by guests. They are not “stone-hard” as described. • Cockroaches are not native to Bali’s tropical climate. They are more common in colder regions. • You did not pay $2,000 or $460 for a single night. The actual nightly rate for four guests was $240. Our standard price is $290 per night for six guests. Please refrain from making false claims. Concerning the projector: It supports multiple sources beyond DVD, including Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+, all available in several languages. If you experienced difficulties navigating the system, our on-site technician would have been happy to assist you — a simple request would have resolved it. Regarding breakfast: Each guest selects their preferred meal and time through our breakfast form. If you requested breakfast for 9 AM but came to the table at 10 AM, the food may understandably no longer be hot. However, we provide a microwave in the main kitchen, and our staff would have gladly reheated your meal upon request — again, all you needed to do was ask. Finally, we are unsure whom you referred to as “the owner.” Our villa is managed by a professional team wearing clean D&G Villas uniforms. Our staff does not engage in unprofessional behavior — they are present to clean, serve breakfast, and assist you throughout your stay. We always welcome fair feedback to help us improve. However, we kindly ask guests to be honest and constructive when sharing reviews. Warm regards, D&G Villas Team

The pool was nice and well maintained

No water from taps inside villa’s for first 2 days, then no warm water. Description of what was in villa was not correct, if the item was there it was not working. Big screen outside was only able to view YouTube. Spa baths were unable to be used due to no water, when we got water then no water pressure so would have taken two days to fill On checkout accused of not paying a laundry bill, I did pay it! Tried to say I did 2 laundry services that we did not! This was the worst place I have ever stayed!

    Property response:

While this villa has so much potential, it is not properly maintained. Refrigerator not working, air-conditioner not cold, stove no gas... When queried about it, staff was defensive instead of apologetic, making excuses instead of trying their best to help. Considering the price paid, still decent value.

    Property response:

Dear mr Daniel, Thank you for writing review of D&G Villas. Regarding refrigerator that you commented actually was delegated to one of your group member that can't be fixed at the same day due to long holiday for most of the spare part store in Bali and they said OK with it because only one night stay. Next about the AC, we checked the AC working properly and very cold and even the guest that currently stay after you never have problem with it. Same thing as stove, our technician checked it and it is work properly. This kind of situation should be communicated right away after you discover the problem so we can send our technician to check immediately during your stay not by the time you check out. Please also note, the villa that you are commented is the extra villa that you made direct book for one night not the villa that you made reservation via booking.com, because during your group member stay for 4 nights they never experienced this problem.

This would a fabulous space for a family. We took the three bedroom villa but they lock up two for a couple to make it a one bedroom. Lovely large pool and excellent privacy. Fabulous kitchen facilities . Staff are just fabulous in true Balinese style.

The villa is a little tired. It could do with a thorough spring clean , re-staining of the wood. A quick paint job. This would make it pop. Meals are average. I’m not sure where the kitchen is but it seems as though it might be a walk away. Location isn’t outstanding for Nusa Dua and you definitely need transport to get around.

The Villa was nice and big. Especially like the private pool and the projector with big wall screen. Kids enjoyed. Also the breakfast was able to customize and requested time. Even 6:00 am was able to make it.

Cleanliness of the kitchen utensils. Lot of insects like cockroach and big ants everywhere. And due to raining, evening time lot of termites. so need to turn of the lights. and even there was a rat visited the living room. When we check in, the living room lights were not working. Hot water was not working. And it was night time, my kids were very tired and we need to wait long time for fixing all of it. those should be checked before next guest check in.
