Its location isn’t amazing.

Very welcoming homestay with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was also tasty. We did the Ijen tour with Danny’s which ran smoothly and was a fair price. Thanks for a great stay!

The only downside was that the front bedroom is on the main road and directly outside the room is the entrance to the hostel. It can be very loud with people in and out and the traffic.

This homestay was super cozy with a real homely feeling. Dannu was very kind in making me feel at home. No question was to much. The double bedroom at the front was very comfortable and everything is clean. I was able to rent a bike and ask any questions I had. I ended up staying 4 nights here as I felt so comfortable. There is a nice comfy common area and kitchen area. It's silly not for guests but he allowed me to make some breakfast which was a bonus.

Nice family room with 3 single beds, good airco, clean room and shower. The guesthouse owner tipped us for a good taxi transfer to our next city for a reasonable price.

The private bathroom isn't attached to the bedroom, it's across the house - I was sick with a tummy bug and this made a difference. The noise from the main road is very loud due to open airbricks in the room. The beds were too hard for my preference.

Danu was fantastic - he stayed up super late to make sure we could check in after our bus was cancelled and then the replacement rerouted. The room was a good size, and the air-conditioning worked well. Danu was also helpful in directing me to an excellent hospital when I was ill during our stay.

In the booked room it was very loud from traffic noise. I had to pay an upgrade for a bigger room to escape from the noise. I expected a simple room and that was ok so far but unfortunately the shower had no hot water. After becomming so wet and cold on the Ijen-trip I knew that there will be no hot shower waiting for me. Because it was raining so hard I decided to leave the place after one night without getting a refund. I did not claim this.

Dannu ist a nice guy who cares about your wishes very carefully. He booked the tour, as to be expected by the place's name, to the Ijen crater. It's not his mistake the the Ijen tour is a tourist trap, because there were no blue fires to see. After comming back from the volcano the offered a breakfast sandwich and hot coffee. Thank you very much Dannu for sending the pictures which our tourguide made of us in the crater. Danny did not charge the rented scooter as I did not use it much in the heavy rain at that day. The scooter was in a very good condition.

The room on the street is quite a bit noisy, but doable with earplugs. The problem is the Mosque at 4h30am on Sunday morning which starts praying real loud and there's no way to be able to keep sleeping :/ Nothing they can do about that but good to know if you plan to sleep there on a Saturday night.

Danu and staff super friendly, he is very responsive and helped organise a tour to Ijen and taxi from Bali. The place is very simple, small but comfortable (with earplugs) and good value for money. Breakfast in the morning made by Danu is very tasty. All in all very good value for money if you are willing to get something a bit more simple.

Bathroom is basic but to take shower is ok. Kitchen needs a bit cleaning

Quite place close to the Ijen. Accommodation is basic but enough for sleep before hike to Ijen which starts at Midnight and you will return at 8:00 in the morning. They allowed us to have a late checkout at 13:00 to rest after the hike. Brakfast is very good. There are also some restaurants just behing the corner with good food. You can also park a motorbike inside the property.

The transfer staff for the Bali boat connection are unreliable. I waited TWO hours at their Warung while ~4 boats per hour were leaving from 5 minutes walk away. I recommend organising your own boat transfer if going to the islands.

Superb staff and delicious breakfast following the early morning hikes. Staff are really friendly and good at communicating. This property used to have many more reviews before this new listing was created - check Google.

the air con in our room didn’t work. was ok as we was there for just one night and we was given a fan but room was hot. I’m sure if we asked to move rooms he would have let us.

dannu was really helpful will booking our trip to Ijen and transport to Yogyakarta all very last minute. The place is very clean and comfortable, beds where also really comfortable.

Danu is a great guest, very nice and helpfull. He will do everything to make your stay satisfying and your journey simple. He helped us with the ferry tickets for free and He found a private van for our trip to Bali. His homestay is clean and quite comfortable, and the breakfast is great. The Kawah Ijen and Bromo tour organized by Danu is absolutely perfect and worth every dollar ! Don't miss it ! Thank you for everything Danu ! Eddy
