We liked the location for exploring Amed, the rooms were great value being large and clean with awesome views particularly from upstairs. Breakfast and the afternoon snack were good and the staff very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and would return again when in Amed.

Neighbours at rear of guesthouse have filthy backyards. Public main street access to De Adema Guesthouse is through all this rubbish. Owners of De Adema should request the neighbours to clean up their filthy trash.

It's not a flash resorty place, it's a guesthouse. But it's super clean, great location with lots of local places to eat. Yummy breakfast, comfy bed - firm, but I prefer a firm bed. No road noise, Lie in bed and listen to the ocean! And you're really welcome and well looked after!

The room is a bit outdated and the mattress was already very soft. Would be great to have a water refill station to avoid more plastic bottles.

The location is awesome. You can see and hear the ocean from your room! The people are very friendly and we got offered an afternoon snack every day (Fried Banana, Balinese Pancake....). In addition, you have all day access to free tea and coffee. The room is very spacious and the terrace has a very comfy sunbed.

I didn’t like the smell of burning trash in the morning and evenings. I also would rather be able to pay with card rather than cash.

The location is perfect and right on the water! The staff is so kind and answered all of our questions. They provided an afternoon snack everyday for free. The balcony is a perfect spot to relax and watch the ocean. Breakfast was awesome and I love that they provide a thermos of hot water to enjoy coffee and tea throughout the day.

location on the beach was beautiful, the owner was superkind, the room and bathroom were very clean. We got the room on the first floor which gives a nice view on the sea and the mountains. We also got a freshly made breakfast, twice warm water for coffee or tea and fried bananas or pancakes at 16:00, and that all included in the price. This is the attention to detail which makes all the difference. You can Snorkel in front of the hotel and there is an outside shower to rinse of the seawater. There are towels for washing and for swiming. I could easily stay there for a few weeks , I will surely come back !

The bedding was clean and fresh , but sheets didn’t fit well over the mattress and really should have been a mattress cover on the bed , a finer doona would have been good for extra warm ,

Lovely staff and perfect location. We especially loved the patio beds and spent many hours there in the shade. Perfect place for relaxation and close to many good restaurants, bars, etc.

Great location - close to many restaurants. The beach is a few steps away; the main streets is just 1 minute walk. The rooms were large, light, and clean. I appreciated the great breakfast options, the thermos of hot water for tea or coffee, and the afternoon snack. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Beach towels were provided and you can rent snorkel gear.

Made and team made the stay very comfortable very nice breakfast we had included, the bed is huge and very comfortable, everything was tidy in the room and cleaned properly. The day bed outside was a real bonus very nice to lie on and listen to the sea.

No TV, but it wasn't an issue.

The location was perfect. Only a few steps, and we were on the beach. Great affordable restaurants within short walking distances. On-site activities were easy to book like snorkeling and fishing. What was even more amazing was that after our fishing trip, they cleaned our fish and grilled them for us! Nice outdoor area to relax. We had a nice welcome drink upon arrival, an afternoon snack, and a delicious breakfast. Hot water was provided with tea and coffee. Wifi worked well. We loved our stay.

There were some flaw, like the mosquitos, and the bed not the best. But again i dont mind it at all. I surely would comeback to this guesthouse in the future.

Better access to drinking water would be nice. Breakfast was just ok.

So spacious - the room was enormous, and terrace also. Bed really comfy (I like firm). AC worked well. Having a small fridge meant we could keep drinks chilled. Afternoon snacks a lovely touch 😋 Perfect location away from noise of street (loud scooters), lots of warungs nearby to sample for lunch and dinner, watching comings and goings of boats & people. Staff attentive and pleasant.

Wonderful everything. Gorgeous views, kind and accommodating staff. Included breakfast can be served any time whether you get up early or sleep until noon. Daily afternoon snack with local dishes to sample like black rice porridge, fried bananas and dadar guling. Huge double lounging beds on your terrace or balcony. Excellent location.

Access is a bit awkward (dusty dirt paths past restaurants and warungs on the main road) and it all looks a bit trashy and rundown from behind. Aside from a spacious bathroom, the balcony and the beach access, there are no real facilities to speak of.

Great, huge balcony with a view out over the sea and back to sunsets & Gunung Agung (when the weather was clear), and direct access to the (shingle) beach. A cold welcome drink, instant coffee in the room and a tasty breakfast. The staff helpfully arranged a boat & driver and provided gear for snorkeling.
