Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe room, especially the toilet had several small cockroaches, which started to increase in number (and size) the second day. They were around the bathroom and then started to come into the room. The room has no window at all and the air conditioning turns on, but doesn't cool the room at all, so it was always boiling. I didn't report the insects as I was just killing them the first day, and I was leaving the second day, when they increased, so I just reported on my way out of the hotel. No hand wash soap, you have to step into the shower to get some soap when you use the sink. Furniture needs a bit of touch and care.
The location close to the shopping mall is very convenient and there are streets with a huge variety of food around, just at walking distance. The hotel provides dispenser for drinking water, which is really positive and welcome.

Indonesiathe front desk staff. i had to cancel my march 18-21 stay because the staff switched the rooms without asking first. when i turned down her offer of compensation she repeatedly sigh very unpleasantly. note this: march 18, 2023, around 7 pm. staff was a young woman with short hair. very unpleasant person. shouldn’t be allowed to work in hospitality.
