Bed was slightly too firm for my liking, but pillows were comfy!

Room felt private. Simple room but had everything you would need. Facilities and pool were lovely. Super lush, beautiful trees and flowers surrounding you. Location was perfectly tucked away. So it was quiet and peaceful at nighttime. Easy to walk to a cafe and restaurants around the corner or down the road and easy enough to catch a grab into town.

The windows don‘t fully close which makes the room not 100% mosquito-proof (there are mosquito nets though). When it rainey heavily, some water leaked into our room from the roof. We did report this to the staff when checking out, though, and they told us they would take care of it.

The location is very nice, 10min by bike from the center and major tourist attractions. The property itself is very pretty with lots of plants. It‘s private and enclosed from the road. The staff was very nice and attentive.

This place was our favorite stay in Ubud. The room with a bath is incredibly nice. We didn't want to leave. It is quiet, clean, spacious, and their breakfast is unreal! The staff are extremely kind. The beds are very comfortable and the water was nice and hot for a beautiful tub out in nature amongst greenery. We can't wait to come back. The value for your money is beyond any place I've stayed at after spending many vacations in Bali especially in Ubud.

Air Conditioner in my villa # 204 upstairs, not powerful enough to cool room to my needs.

Delicious nutritious breakfast. Could not fault. Coffee is very strong Balinese style. This is my 4th stay at The Famboyant, the owner upgraded me to upper level villa - a larger room, 4 poster bed, private terrace and day bed. Wish I could stay for longer. For me the peace and quiet is perfect. Guests are welcome who are respectful of this quiet harmony.

The only issue I encountered during my stay was that after the first night, I noticed two bugs. I informed the staff about it, but I didn’t see any more insects afterward. I stayed for seven days in total. I believe being in a more natural, outdoor environment in Ubud may have contributed to this. However, I’m not comfortable with bugs and suspected they might have come from the bathroom, which appeared to lack proper ventilation but had direct airflow from outside.

The place is nice. The room is spacious, the staff are friendly and I could always find one around. You can do yoga if you wanted to and have a mat closer to the bathroom side. It had a desk and chair. Also, a mini fridge and kettle in the room.

A bit further from the center of Ubud - cca 10mins on a motorbike, but Gojek drivers usually take you around the Monkey Forrest and that was too narrow and dangerous way - ask them to take the main road. Also cars cannot get to the accomodation, you will need to walk cca 200m.

The area is very chill, 10 min from the center of Ubud by moto. The pool and nature around is beautiful. Bed is comfortable and Agus the manager, super nice.

The time it takes to get to the city centre (>30min due to huge traffic jams) and the fact that there is no food available, except breakfast. Not even a little snack.

The hotel is not accessible y car , only on foot or by motorbike . Avoid heavy luggage !!

The property itself is fantastic, my only complaint was the jack hammering in the neighbouring construction, but this was only heard during the day when we were out anyway.

The villas and whole facility is a great traditional layout and very nice to stay in. It really felt like a hidden getaway and very private.
