AustraliaIt's the little things and the big things. Like they only provide a 3-in-1 hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner that smells terrible. I can not imagine what scent it's supposed to be, but it's putrid. Secondly, the swimming pool was closed for renovations (for 3 weeks) during our stay. This was the main reason why I chose this hotel (and paid the high price). I was annoyed and felt this was a bait-and-switch, and I should have been notified in advance so I could arrange alternative options. They provided breakfast next door at Rabbit Jump which was below average. There was almost no plant-based options other than fried rice every morning. No plant based protein options whatsoever. Seating was uncomfortable. Considering the price, I expected more. They only provided access to the Rabbit Jump pool but only on lounges FAR AWAY from the pool. There was a minimum spend for using the closer lounges. Since I visited Rabbit Jump 2 years ago, it looks like no maintenance has been done during that time. All the cushions and bean bags are faded, umbrellas are faded, pool has lots of missing tiles and looked dingy, pool seating in front of pool bar looks disgusting. Overall, that pool was really gross and cloudy and I could not bring myself to swim in it. The customer service at Rabbit Jump was terrible. I had to walk around and find a staff member to place an order for a drink - twice. They just chatted amongst themselves and never looked out for customers. Considering the astronomical price of cocktails, you'd think they should be motivated to provide quick service. Nope. Considering the price I paid for the room, and was hoping to use Rabbit Jump more often, I felt really disappointed. I'm generous, giving it 6 out of 10.
The location of the hotel on the sunset side of the island is excellent - you can walk across the road and watch the sunset every day. The room was well-appointed, and the bed was comfy enough. The shower was unusually large, which felt a bit weird. They were kind enough to allow us to check in early since our ferry arrived before the usual check-in time. But there was a significant delay at the reception because of a bunch of other guests checking in and not enough staff.

United KingdomIt’s very loud with the beach club next door and loadsa construction going on. It’s also very dated and needs a proper clean. My sink was all rusty and the bathroom just generally beaten up and looking very tired. Hairs in my room and so many mosquitoes (not the hotel’s fault obvs but a net or device to help stop them would be ideal). Also bear in mind the hotel’s location. If you wanna be IN the port area where all the bars, restaurants and tours are then the hotel is on the total opposite side. You need a bicycle and it’s a 15 minute trip.
Located right near the beach on the sunset side of the island, it’s a hotel with a great view and beach.

United Kingdomwe had a better room the week before so we were naturally disappointed not to be able to get the same sort of room again. Also the room we had, 423, has several issues. Electrics, taps, shower drain, but nothing unsurmountable.
staff were amazing, especially the staff at Hula. But everyone was very friendly, even the builders!!

AustraliaNo communication from staff when we checked in, didn’t even show us to our room and didn’t tell us anything about the property. I had to ask the staff the next morning all of my questions. Beds were very stiff. There was a horrible sewer smell coming from the outside bathroom because they were doing construction and there was run-off outside or our room.
Breakfast was good, buffet style with an omelette station and many choices. Outdoor shower was so nice with hot water. Air conditioner worked great and the room had a very high ceiling. The pool at the restaurant was enjoyable with a swim-up bar and they serve you at the pool or at the pool chairs. Rabbit Run pool and bar is right next door, very fun place with a foam party everyday.

HungaryThe place needs renovations, especially the houses made of bricks. We lived in the wooden one it was better.
It is located on the opposite side of the island compared to the port where the ferry arrives, but it's only 15 mins with a horse cart which is around 150K for 2 ppl. Its perfect if you want to see amazing sunsets or if you like parties as it is next to a beach club called Rabbit Jump where day have foam pool parties every day until 10pm. The place needs renovations however it's not as bad as some of these reviews i have read. If you keep the doors shut all the time the mosquitos don't go in the room. Theres a lot of them especially in the bathroom bin. :D We had a very good sleep tho both nights. However, for a longer stay I would recommend another place. Staff is very kind, we didn't ask for cleaning but they still left us water and toilet paper on the balcony. The buffet breakfast is great. Lazy coconut bar is an amazing place to have dinner in the sunset.

United StatesStaff excellent. The fact that it’s next to rabbit jump killing the business. Nails sticking out of deck at pool on Hulu a real danger. We picked up at least 4….my husband pulled one out himself before someone could stand on it. Pool has algie so don’t put head under and turned my white bathing suit brown. Upkeep is really an issue which is a shame for the wonderful staff. Obviously a business venture for someone who is not there but let me tell you if someone gets one of those nails in their foot it will be a real issue. Otherwise value for money with a little caution good.
