How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

VERY disappointed that the shower had no hot water despite running it for a long time and changing the tap settings. It was annoying to have a fee for the taxi to drop me off at the front door. The carpet in the hallway was torn and stained and not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. It’s good they provide the facility to fill up on water from a dispenser in the hall, but the button didn’t turn off and I had to pull the plug out of the socket to stop it keep leaking all over the floor.
After weeks of some pretty basic accomodation it was nice to have a bit of luxury with a large room, good a/c, clean, large comfy bed. It’s near to the airport. Reception was good. Shame there was no hot shower!

Unfortunately there were not that many vegetarian and not vegan option. You should add tahu or tempe to the menu or just fruit salad.
It was quite modern, good food quick stop for the next trips. Great stuff. Very fast and good laundry service:) Comfortable beds, nice shower:)

I stayed there only for a short night because I had a plane to catch very early morning. The restaurant is good, the room is very clean and provides everything you need. The Hotel is only 4 km from the airport and they arrange for a reasonable airport transfer.

If U have to stay in Makassar this is probably your best option.
Nice pool, cheap, friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were buffet excellent value and selection

Nothing to note, it was only one night and I had to leave early the next day.
It was just one night for transit, all other hotels were fully booked and only this one was available at airport distance. Loved how quiet it was and how comfy the beds were. Free shuttle to the airport made it even better :)

Though it was signs that it was a silence floor, lots of loud running and screaming children.
Pretty big room with clean sheets & towels, comfy bed. Friendly staff. Close to the airport for a 1 night transit.

The bedding was not clean and the smell in the whole hotel was artificial and chocking

Dining staff could be a little more attentive.
Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast and the restaurant food in the evening had greatly improved since we last visited. Close to the Airport.

It has a luxury vibe but with quite outdated facilities, shower was not good. The restaurant was a big disappointment, expensive and food is not really good, I’ve ordered a chicken sandwich that one could do much better at home.
The hotel is ok for one night, staff as always in Indonesia is very friendly.

Lunch and dinner wasn't that great. Worst massage of our whole trip Unless you wanted a happy ending which were definitely on offer.
Close to the airport. Perfect for overnight stay between flights. Their beds were the most comfortable on our whole trip. Buffet breakfast was amazing with such a variety of choice.

Limited numbers of sundecks/chairs by the pool and no umbrellas. Fitness room, not super clean and missing some mats. Slow wifi in the rooms.
Convenient location if you want to be close to the airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Wide choice of food at breakfast.

Food so so. Swimming pool area seems a bit worn out and could get an update. Same for the restaurant area. Bit expensive for what it is.

Room and bathroom could have been cleaner for the price. Restaurant and breakfast very expensive.
Close to airport, and short walk to shop and ATM. KFC outside as well. Felt very secure. Nice interior. Big room.

Room reeked of smoke. Manager said there weren’t non smoking rooms available and did ozone treatment. It helped a bit but it was hard to breathe in the room and my clothes smelled awful after we left and had to be washed. Buffet breakfast was just ok. Restaurant next door was good.
Nice place. Friendly staff helped us rent a motorbike. Good rooms, aircon, WiFi, and showers. Close to airport

We had supper at the hotel and staff were new trainees.. so communicating with them was a problem…
Located near airport, got upgraded to a deluxe , breakfast was excellent - big variety of food, both western and local food.
