Our air con wasn’t working and even after a technician came to fix it - it kept making a lot of noise so we ended up sleeping with no cooling. One window also had a big crack in it, but the staff fixed it with tape when I pointed it out.

Many rooms is not frendly for elderly or people who can not properly because they need to walk up and down with many stairs and then if the rain happens you'll gwt wet also avoid to bring many or heavy luggage.

They don't have a real hot water here. It is only lightly warm water. They were helpful when we asked about hot water, but unfortunately that was what they could provide.

We can reach the beach from the hotel, our children can swim or play there. We also rent speed boat to go around Parapat and Batu Gantung. The breakfast buffet was various and excellent, from rice, bubur ayam, bread, musli until small "jajanan pasar". The personal were friendly.

The room was very shabby. There was no hair dryer, hand towel, safe, glasses or fridge. We were disappointed.

Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have a public swimming pool facility The overall taste of the food at the restaurant is OK, only the texture of the chicken satay meat is a bit tough When I stayed there was another group of guests who made a bit of noise during rest time between 10 - 12 at night because they were having a party. What is a bit annoying is the behavior of some guests who are very noisy in the hotel room hallway from 12 at night to 1 in the morning. The hotel management should control noise more strictly so that it does not disturb other hotel guests who are resting. While enjoying drinking coffee in the coffee lounge with acoustic guitar entertainment in the afternoon, sometimes you are disturbed by the sound of traditional music being played simultaneously in the hotel lobby.

I stayed in a deluxe room type in the new building on the 2nd floor which has a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Toba. Khas Parapat Hotel (formerly Inna Parapat Hotel) is one of the best hotels in Parapat and managed by a government-owned company and is the only hotel that has its own beach with white sand The cleanliness of the bed and bathroom is good, the hotel staff is very friendly. The hot water and shower facilities are very good, only the time for hot water is limited to 5 - 10 am and 5 - 10 pm The breakfast, lunch, and dinner experience at Khas restaurant was very good. The variety of food and the overall taste of the food is good. The restaurant staff service is very friendly. I enjoyed coffee time in the coffee lounge in the afternoon and was entertained by a solo singer with an acoustic guitar and his singing performance was very good.

Water heater only available at 5am to 10am and 5pm to 10pm, but the water is very cold. Cleaniness is a bit off, can see spider web at corner and tiny bug on the bed. Water heater jug and the cup are a bit as well. Restaurant food was just okay, but both me and my friend got diarrhea sometime after dinner...

The gardening and the lake view is superb. The room is big and the design is decent.

We stayed in the old building, maybe the new building has better rooms. Steep stairs going around and down to the beach, mind your steps. Hot water stops at 10pm and starts again in the morning.

Lakeside accommodation with stunning view of lake Toba and with many instagenic photo spots. They have watersport facilities and a small sandy beach cove. Staff is hospitable and very helpful. Tasteful breakfast spread. Spacious room and bed is comfortable but toilet/shower area needs improvement.

staff seems annoyed when you request something. Insects everywhere. Everything was dirty. I got sick from the food, throwing up with diahhree. Also expensive. Go to any other hotel, not this one.

Extremely noisy during night and early morning (very early morning). Loud music till late at nights and early at 6.30am. Impossible to sleep. Personnel is very kind and sweet. Definitely overpriced for the type of service provided and for the lack of comfort.

The rooms very shabby, old and dirty. The bathrooms were so heavily smelling of urin and feces. The outside restaurant for dinner was filthy and there were rats and cockroaches all over the place. It’s really not as described and rated, I guess since Covid there were not many tourists and they just neglected the accommodation.

Nice spot in parapat, great view directly located at Lake Toba.

Very poor wifi signal in my room. room next door had wifi router right in front of their door. i had to go out to get a good signal. however can't remain outside for long coz there is alot of mosquitoes. horrible experience with the wifi. unless your drive there, there's no Grab or taxi there, only "angkot". for tourist angkot is a small mini van they use like buses to transport small group passengers around the area. If you want to leave Lake Toba by bus, tell the angkot driver to send you to the bus station.

Surrounding area was nice and clean. Good view for photography. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Great water activities. Breakfast is great but not so for lunch. very long queue at the egg station during breakfast. only one staff station there.

Booked and paid more for a lake view room but was given a room on the other side of the lake overlooking the car park. Went to complain and was given the right room but lady at the front desk staff was less than enthusiastic about my request and changed it without a word or an apology. Property was a bit dated and facilities around the recreation area was a little run down. Karaoke sessions from the town nearby can be rather loud

Location was great , near Parapat town and right on the edge of the lake with scenic view from the bedroom. Newly refurbished rooms are basic but relatively comfortable

Morning exercise dance with super loud music started at 6 am(!!!) basically waking everyone in the hotel up who did not attend the exercise. And that after the night before there was loud music played until 12 am. Ridiculous if you come there to relax and refresh. Warm water only available from 5pm to 10 pm and 5 am to 10 am. Not very accessible if you travel with elderly people as they hv to climb a lot of stairs
