The pool was not clean through out our stay, there was a major infestation of rats in the villa. We had to spend the last night just getting them out of the room.

Loved the privacy. Large very comfortable bed.

25 minute walk from the harbour which was quite effortless with suitcases

Lovely staff, and the comfiest bed I have ever stayed in!!! The private pool with the room was a bonus. Especially for the price!

Quaint little villa Location was away from action yet close.

Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from the neighbours. The property manager resigned after day one so the young inexperienced assistant did his best to manage the place. Pool was green so insisted that it be dumped with chlorine to fix it. It was usable by day 3

Everything was pretty weathered/dated and the pool wasn’t clean

Very nice private accommodation with a nice pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The island is a quite small island, but if you are carrying heavy bags you must to walk a further distance from the pier until the accommodation. If you dont mind to walk this is not a big deal.

The good thing about this accommodation was the private pool but thats all.

We stayed there for 3 nights/4days and nobody came if we want to clean our room. Its island so it would be nice to clean floor from the sand and throw away a trash (cannot flush toilet paper). But there were lizards and cockroaches in our house. Lots of mosquitoes, net over bed would definitely help. Air condition was very poor. The pool was full of old leaves and flowers.

Private pool

Private pool only operative for a few hours. Less or no staff when needed.

“We had to change the hotel because there were holes in the walls that allowed insects and bugs to come in. The bed had no mosquito net either. It looks good in the photos, but the reality was very different. Luckily, we found a better hotel right next door for a better price.

Private pool was the reason for which i booked the room here but unfortunately they turn on the pool filtration only for 2-3 hours in the whole day. Overall there is no one in the hotel reception and if you need something you have to find the guy like towel or room cleaning

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was a bonus. It is starting to get a little dated and could do with a little renovation. Overall, it was a great stay for the price.

The room was very clean, the most basic thing to consider in a hotel business was available ('normals' in Bali are a little different) and the Bed! It was incredibly cosy and smelled clean. You can use a small pool available. And it's so private, it was great

It was a little far away and there were a lot of mosquitoes because of the area, but it can be said that we solved the problem with a lotion

Java Wood is incredibly good value for money. The staff is kind and very helpful. The private pool was excellent as was the room.

The location is a bit away from the main area, not necessarily a bad thing, but the final road is a dirt road, which is common in Gili T. All in all a brilliant place to stay.

the pool was very concentrated with clorine that bleaches the clothes. there is holes all over the villa where bugs and mosquitos get inside. there is no bug net around the bed to protect you from sleeping. the ac did not work instead it was blowing hot air in the room so it was hotter than outside. it was not possible to sleep there we had to leave after the first few hours and find a new hotel. high recommend not to book here unless this sounds like something you like. also there is no safety deposit box as described in the hotel inclusions.

Everything from the beginning until the end. Service has been fantastic, we were able to check in early and we enjoy the private pool as much as possible. It made our stay very special. The room is very spacious and the decoration very well looked after. Best accommodation we had during our Bali trip for sure!

The room is with a private pool that you can enjoy only by yourself. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do offer bikes to book btw.

Location is a bit far away from the harbour but it’s manageable. The stay definitely worth the price.
