Location was the best. Snorkelling in front of the accommodation was excellent to be able to see turtles and many species of fish.

    Nothing

Good location with the beach right in front with beautiful views. Can only swim when tide is in, and snorkelling is good. Lots of great warungs and cafes close by. Staff were lovely. Comfy beds and quiet air conditioner. Massive outdoor bathroom.

Unfortunately the pool was a no go for us. It's eco friendly, using sea water pumped in to it. Slime covered the bottom of the pool and steps, making it very slippery and quite unsafe. Unfortunately the pool was very uninviting. Gardens not well tended.

Staff were wonderful, very welcoming, helpful and always happy for a chat. Room was great, very clean. The location was great for us as was quieter in the afternoons. Couldn’t fault the team! Very happy with our stay - 10/10 would recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights in July. Very welcoming and friendly - run smoothly and calmly by the owners Tony and Julia and their local team. They set it up and have been here for many years and know how to keep you comfortable and informed. This is probably why they soon get fully booked - good places do :-) Situated on the quieter side of the island, with snorkelling off the shore, or from small boats. Very helpful with arranging transfers (the payment goes to the person facilitating it, not to the hotel - a nice way to support locals). Rooms are clean and comfortable - everything you need. You'll hopefully spend most of your time outside! Simple and delicious breakfast (included in price) and meals are available. Usual range of drinks and juices at the bar. Coral-filtered sea water pool is very welcome and clean. Games are available, also scooters and bikes for rent at reasonable prices. Snorkels and masks available to borrow.

    Having to leave :-)

We loved stepping across the beach for great snorkeling and the kids loved the large swimming pool which had 3 fish in it - it amazed them! Staff were amazing with the kids and the food was lovely. Perfect place that we will definitely return to.

We loved everything about this place - could have stayed a lot longer if we had the time!

Juliantos has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners Julia and Tony, along with the staff make you feel truly welcome. Special mentions to Arif, Sam and Rini for their excellent service. We stayed in a family sea view room which was clean and comfortable. The room was more like a two-bedroom apartment. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise and Mt Rinjani from the balcony. As mentioned by others the location of the hotel is perfect for people who want to maximise their snorkeling time. The waters just in front of the hotel are teaming with coral and sealife. We 100% recommend Juliantos and hope to return.

Just minor things, not deal breakers. Blockout curtain in the rooms. Also there is no tvs, which we loved!

Great location, clean and comfortable. Best snorkelling straight in front of the hotel

Beds were a bit hard, pool wasn't overly inviting but the ocean is 20m away

We stayed for 4 nights and had the most relaxing time! The room is super comfortable. Good airconditioning, spacious and a nice bathroom in the open air! There's a small fridge and everything you need. Food and breakfast was really nice and all the staff very friendly too. Great value for money and right by the beach!

Location was fabulous! - my preferred spot on the Island for snorkeling. Everything you need - air-con, fridge, kettle, outdoor seating with garden surrounds, sun loungers on the beach, fan was a bonus. The concrete buildings stay cool & provide more soundproofing than your average bamboo hut. Loved the ecco salt water swimming pool for when it's low tide. Limited breakfast choice but it was very good - plunger of coffee & homemade bread, generous fruit salad. Attractively decorated. Lovely staff. Very laidback, chill vibes.

The grey looking sheets (didn't doubt they were clean, maybe use coloured?) & poorly presented toiletries didn't create a good impression. I would've liked a general waste bin as well as the one used for toilet tissue. No (working) bedside light.

Location, right on a spectacular snorkeling beach. Swimming with turtles on high tide exceptional. Beautiful sunrise. A two bedroom family room with large private balcony, overlooking the ocean. Lovely staff. Fantastic Massage at Zen Spa.

The plumbing in the bathroom needs attention. Unfortunately we didn’t find the natural sea water pool appealing. Would have loved a normal swimming pool when it’s low tide and you would like to cool off.

Beachfront property, rooms a bit dated. Fresh pot of coffee in the morning and sun beds beachfront. Natural pool fed by the tide.

I only stayed one day, I was staying next doors before. I liked the location (reason for booking) and that breakfast was included. Some staff members were friendly.

The room I stayed in really needs renovation. It's quite cheap place but the walls are so dirty and grey. I spent an hour trying to kill the mosquitos in the room but there were so many (I didn't leave any door open) that after an hour still 4 were flying around so at the end I sprayed my body and slept like that but I still got bites. All other accommodations I stayed in provided electric mosquito repellent vapourisers. I woke up at 4 am to the mouses squeaking right at my head inside the wall which was quite annoying. The bathroom was not properly cleaned unfortunately (hair Infront of the mirror from yhe previous guest). If you are on a low budget probably this is a good place to stay at, I wouldn't like to spend longer than a day here.
