We had a wonderful stay at Lara Homestay. Lara and her team were always incredibly helpful, supported us with everything we needed, and shared many valuable tips. The homestay is simple but welcoming – we really liked our room, and it was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again and can definitely recommend it to others.

The room we had was in need of a little maintenance and was a little grubby but it was fine for the price we paid and we'd happily recommend.

Lara and the team were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the accomodation is very central and they were happy to organise transport or anything else we required. This is a good budget accommodation.

Lara and her family took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. They shared some local knowledge and helped plan the best places to check out. Breakfast included, great staff and start everyday or when returning. Easy going and happy to help out with transport, bookings and setting up travel needs.

WiFi sub par and air conditioning was broken; it leaked and was rather smelly. But Lara (host) was getting the mechanic to fix it so shouldn't be a problem for anyone else !

Great location, lovely hosts and we managed to rent scooters and do laundry for a good price. Room comfortable.

Full disclosure, we stayed in a budget room and there appeared to be nicer rooms than the one we stayed in. Overall downfall was cleanliness, especially in the bathroom & poor ventilation, Linens were also a bit stained. If staying, we would recommend looking at some of the non-budget rooms.

Extremely friendly host and staff! Accommodation felt safe, comfortable bed and A/C worked well. Breakfast was good and the location can’t be beat. The price was very good.

Lovely, helpful staff. Great location, close to the beach and behind busy town, but next to a lot of land, so is surprisingly quiet and feels almost rural. Easy enough to walk around for food etc and not far from the beach. The first room was good for the budget, but we shifted upstairs to a much bigger, nicer room with a balcony and really liked that one for not much more price difference.

It was all a bit older, but it was also quite cheap and including breakfast so cannot really complain! The AC was working perfectly and the beds are huge! Also the pool was cleaned regularly.

The people! Lara herself is always around and happy to help. Also the rest of the staff is very kind. They take care of street cats which is adorable. Hope the little kitten will be ok 🤞🏽🥹

The people from Lara homestay where super nice and always say hello l. The breakfast was excellent it’s what made me book this place and I don’t regret it . Location is great I had a scooter but u don’t need it to go out for food or anything even the Indonesiër is across the street. And there where so many cute cats and kittens at the homestay!!

amazing places to stay! We have been here 2 weeks now and we keep extending, best location. Rooms are clean and staff are lovely. Breakfast is good. When my friend was sick, they were amazing asking if she was okay checking up and just really nice people.
