Mbox is definitely a party hostel. The staff is super friendly and makes it really easy to socialize, the vibe is young. Very young. Nights usually start at the hostel and then move on to one of the island’s hottest parties at Margherita Sunrise, which is a lot of fun. The room was comfortable enough, but the bathroom could be improved: water pressure was low and cleanliness not the best.

the shared bathrooms werent the cleanest and there was no hot water in them. also even when staying in the private room, no towels were provided. they close the pool at 10 to clean it but during the day its full of boys playing volleyball so no time to enjoy it peacefully. bar crawl always goes to the same 1 bar.

stayed in both the private room and the shared room. its nice that its only 3 people to a room and no bunk beds in the shared room. the private room was spacious and the bathroom was nice with a hot shower. good amount of social activities everyday and staff are friendly.

The toilets and showers let it down for me, they need to be much cleaner and 50% of the showers don't work properly.

Staff are super friendly. Moved me to another room in the middle of the night because my Aircon broke down. They do food & drink and also have a pool. Free towel included.

The showers were cold and the rooms had freezing air con. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but they did the job and served a purpose! No curtains on the beds, but some privacy provided by the shelves in the triple (single sex) rooms.

Great social hostel ... even if you didn't want to drink and party with the family dinners each evening. Free drinking water and well organised, good value boat trip.

This is a party hostel with young people. If you're are not in this mood, change, but if you really want to enjoy with people and go to the party every day, that's the place to do. Activities for that every day, happy hour at 2 pm until you're drunk. But please, learn to your customer how it's important to be quiet when they come back a 3am completely drunk... that's funny 1 time, not every night...

The room is really comfortable and it's good to have a simple bed. You have space for your luggage. The pool was great and clean every day.

It was hard to come in contact with the reception in the afternoon/evening when you need something, because they are out socialising. The flirty attitude from the staff can be a bit too much:)

If you go there, you should be prepared that it’s a party hostel. They leave every night at 22 and go to the same bar, so you can still sleep on the nights you need to recover. The staff is very on and is trying to create a good party everyday, and come and talk to you and arrange games. So it’s the perfect place for a solo backpacker who wants to party

The pictures in the booking reservation doesn’t match the reality. The accommodations is more old and dirty then it appears on the pictures. The bathrooms were old, needing fixing and not clean, the shower dripped only little water. In the bedroom, the ar con made a lot of noise while running.

Our room was not cleaned when we entered. Check in is advertised as 2PM, we arrived at 4PM and there were no bedsheets, towels with rubbish still left in the room.
