Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOnly one point to mention! A small fridge would be extremely useful in the room! Tea/coffee and bottled water available in the room but with temperatures outside I excess of 30°+ and only dropping to 26° at night, the bottled water is "warm" even in the air conditioned room after a few hours. Only a small point but for many UK and European visitors the temperatures are very high and may put off visitors to the MaxOne with many other similar priced hotels nearby including a fridge in the room price.....hence the score of 9 and not 10!!
Sometimes the room photos can be a little "photoshopped" but not at this Maxone! The room was excellent with all facilties available as shown and spotlessly clean. Never saw, housekeeping once but on return to the room always in pristine order with fresh towels, and rubbish bins emptied! Numerous Reception Staff available 24 hours, and all speaking excellent English (special thanks to Rizky!). Breakfast served 0600-1000 in the Rooftop Restaurant is, unbelievable!!!! I've visited 46 countries, and the, Maxone breakfast is my No. 1 for choice, freshness and, excellent customer service, !!! They have everything you could imagine and more available here - Excellent location of hotel with a newly completed "air conditioned" shopping mall just 2 minutes away - shops, included a "Subway" and a great "coffee shop" with a variety of drinks/snacks. Surprised to find also a "wine shop" in this mall - quite a rarity in this Muslim country! Large selection - unfortunately the cheapest was £20 a bottle so came out empty handed (if you want some relatively cheap wine at £5 a bottle (100,000Rp) or large cans of Heineken/Bintang the "Brown & Spirits Liquor Store" at Plaza Menteng is recommended!!...... The Metro link is being extended past the hotel with links to Jakarta Kota Station. Until then the "Harmony" bus stop is only 5 minutes, from the hotel - here the TransJakarta Route, one every few minutes takes you 4 stops past Freedom Square & the MONAS monument and on to the Bundaran HI, a focal point in the centre of the city with a, Sky View Platform overlooking the roundabout and famous hotels - a must to see at nighttime!!..... Suggest buying a "JAKCARD" at most Alfamart Supermarkets. The card costs 20,000 (£1) and you "top up" with any amount you want..... a journey by any bus or metro train (KRL or MRT) costs between 2000-6000 (£0.10 - £0.30).....

Everything was great during my stay, but I do have a few comments about the TV and the clothes hangers. I’m usually out during the day, so I’m only in the room at night to sleep. However, when I wanted to relax in the room, the TV only offered cable channels and didn’t have a wide variety of options for streaming platforms. Also, there were only four clothes hangers in the room, and I wasn't sure if I could request more, as that was the only set provided. Aside from these points, everything else was excellent. These issues didn’t make my stay inconvenient, but I wanted to share them as feedback.
The room is spacious enough for two people, and there are plenty of outlets for charging. The bathroom is clean, and the toiletries are complete. The hotel is easy to find and within walking distance of Monas, many food establishments, and a nearby busway (bus stop) for convenient commuting. Additionally, when I requested a late checkout, the front desk made it very easy to arrange.

FranceI recently stayed at MaxOne Platinum Hayam Wuruk in Jakarta and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's modern design and vibrant atmosphere are welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff, though not very fluent in English, were friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, with easy access to major attractions and public transport. Overall, a great value for money. Highly recommended!
