The beach near the hotel is worse than other beaches around (full of plastics). If you don't rent a scooter the options for transportation are limited. This is because the area is still very wild, which is also great if this is what you look for.

The restaurant prepared a really good food (breakfast was very good and the bread was the best we tried in Indonesia). The staff was super-friedly and helpfu,l attending very good our demands.

Maybe the kitchen could close a little bit later for dinner, as it now closes at 8 pm. It was not a major problem for us, but it could have made us feel more relaxed.

Everything was perfect, from the room to the position and the overall mood. We particularly appreciated the amazing staff, which made us feel at home, as well as the astonishing food. So good that we decided to always have dinner there rather than outside, especially after trying another restaurant.

I loved it so much , the owner and his staff are so kind people , always with a nice smile, taking care of everything, all the breakfasts were so delicious and the food on the menu as well, thank you to the chefs The room is beautiful with a beautiful view as well, all was perfect, if you drive the scooter you can go wherever you want. They have scooters to rent there, If you want to connect with peace and relax , this is the perfect place. This resort is amazing. Beautiful beaches abound nearby, the pool is amazing and staff waits on you like royalty. Food is incredible. The only place you want to be in southern Lombok!

Something to consider is the distance to Kuta, it’s around 25 min by motorbike and there is not much within walking distance to the accommodation. Another thing, which the hotel couldn’t do anything about, was the dirt road to and from the main road. This was very muddy and hard to access with the motorbike. The manager did say that this should be fixed once the rainy season is finished.. until then, expect some muddy feet! The WiFi was also a bit average, disconnecting often and poor signal, but who needs WiFi when you’re in paradise!

The location was lovely and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. We really liked the minimalistic look of the room and the fact there was lots of space to put your things away. The bed was very comfy and the outdoor shower was lovely. The staff were very accommodating and greeted us with a smile every single time. They also had luscious grass and a tap outside your room to rinse off before entering. The pool was also very clean!

Be sure to wear sunglasses if you scooter back during dusk.

Fantastic resort. The view was beautiful, it was nice and quiet, the staff were kind, and the food was fantastic. Kuta is close (30 min if you drive/scooter slow) and the drive is very enjoyable. If I ever return to Lombok I will definitely book here again.

Restaurant is still a bit early in its development and the dishes would benefit from a bit of « decoration », the food was really good, it’s just a matter of presenting it a bit better.

Really nothing!!!!!

What a beautiful place, it has a great view over tobacco fields, mountains and the ocean. The place was open for just a week and you couldn’t tell because it was heaven on earth for us. The staff is so friendly they helped us with everything and did it so precisely from room cleaning to making the food :) The owner was super involved and is one of the nicest people we have met, he showed us around and we had great conversations with him. We are so curious to see how this place develops, we will most definitely visit this place again! See you next time Maya Ocean Resort.

They have recently finished the renovation. The furniture is good, but floor and bathroom is dirty. It’s dirty because of construction dust. Deep cleaning is necessary

Bad experience at this place. No information from the hotel that: the restaurant closed long before closing time with no other option in the area. water supply stopped twice electricity was out for many hours We ordered with breakfast included, but had to pay double up for it. Location was fine but better to have transport However a 40 minute walk gets you the Kuta end of Lancing Beach which is clean and good swimming plus Mr. Lemon’s Warung for great, inexpensive food (fish curry superb) The hotel pool was pristine and sparkling
