For us, Mirabelle Joglo was more than just a hotel, it was a little corner of paradise in paradise. The location is ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to reach the town center in just a few minutes by scooter. The sea view is definitely a plus. The bungalows are clean, fragrant, and tastefully decorated. The gardens are perfectly maintained, and the outdoor common areas are pleasant spaces to spend time in. We really appreciated Laurent's hospitality and his easy, friendly attitude in handling any requests. What else can we say? This place will remain one of our fondest memories of Karimunjawa, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation on the island

Laurent is a very helpful host. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the rooms are very nice and very clean.

This place is absolutely perfect and so much value for money. Every detail is well thought and fabulous; host, breakfast, bed, view, bathroom outside, arrangement of taxis, scooters, laundry, snorkel tour, it all couldn’t be better. Thank you so much Laurent and team! We will definitely come back someday.

We lived in a beautiful own bungalow with a sea view, the whole hotel area is exceptionally beautiful. Delicious breakfasts with 5 choice options. Tour organisation was great.

Amazing place for enjoying a quality holiday. It was very clean, comfortable, quality and beautiful environment. The hosts are very friendly, they do make you feel like home.

This is the best location on the island, it’s close to the main village but also in a very quite spot with a beautiful view on the sea. The owners and the staff are amazing, they don’t let you miss anything! Very well organised, the rooms are clean and well designed with all the commodities needed. Moreover is the resort and garden super cozy with plants and flowers everywhere, all well maintained. Breakfast has different choices for any needs (the banana pancakes were my favourite) Coffe tee and water for free 👍 The owners were always friendly and available for any tips and things to do on the island. Overall 10/10, highly recommended!

We stayed at Mirabelle Joglo Village for 4 nights and absolutely loved every moment! The hosts were incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming…it felt like staying with family. From the moment we arrived, they made everything easy and comfortable. We were immediately given a scooter to explore the island, which was such a fun way to see all the hidden gems. Our suite was cleaned daily and beautifully maintained. The outdoor shower was a lovely, romantic touch, and the air conditioning made our stay extra comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and fresh, and any questions we had about excursions or activities were clearly explained and perfectly arranged. One unexpected highlight was enjoying a bottle of Australian red wine, absolutely delicious! Before the day of departure, we experienced some stress about our travel plans, but thanks to the hosts, amazing local connections, everything was sorted out smoothly. We felt safe, cared for, and in very good hands. A true paradise with personal touches 10/10. Highly recommended! ❤️

Well we were welcomed with an Ice Tea by the owner Laurent, which is really nice. He is a friendly and facilitating host, because he arranged the snorkel tour and the scooter rental. Also the breakfast is good and the view plus garden is beautiful. The villa is clean.

Showers do have warm water, but you need to be quick, because the warm water will run out after around 5 min.

We really enjoyed our time in this accommodation. Definitely, I would stay here again. The staff was friendly and helped us coordinate various activities in Karimunjawa. Moreover, they have the best banana pancakes!

The services is very out of expectation wonderful! I enjoy the whole trips for their preparations toward my needs. I ask alot of helps because i never been this island, most of the question and requirement they did a very good homework!

Mirabelle Joglo Village for us was an absolute oasis, ten minutes away from town, set in beautifully landscaped gardens. The room was typical Javanese with a superb outdoor shower/bathroom and a lovely veranda to watch the sunrise. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked extra nights!…full kudos to Laurent & Etha for being star hosts and making our stay on Karimunjawa a truly memorable experience…merci bien!

Exceptional place that surpassed everything what we expected. Run by great, helpful hosts, with great sense of hospitality. Beautiful garden, very well maintained yet giving a feeling of floral maze. The javanese style wooden huts with terraces remind you that you are in tropical heaven. Everything is perfectly clean and taken care of. Very tasty breakfasts, we sticked to the indonesian version, didn't try the other 4 meals. Bet they are also worth trying. The cherry on top are the sunrises that kickstart your day, easily enjoyed from your cosy terrace. Hope we will come back here one day.

Third time we came back ! Well maintained and very clean villa. Laid back atmosphere. Good breakfast with various option to choose from. Free coffee, tea and water throughout the day. Good working and silent airco units. Situated only 5 minutes outside the village which will guarantee you a nice sleep and avoid an early wake up call ! Friendly and helpfull owners !

Mirabelle Joglo Village is beautifully located on the east coast of Karimunjawa, less than 10 minutes from the harbour where the ferry arrives from Jepara. There are different types of accommodation available. We had the villa which offers four bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Laurent and his wife have created something really quite beautiful here, in a wonderful mix of Indonesian and European style. The grounds are very well kept and everything has been designed and decorated with great taste and attention to detail. The villa offers a lot of privacy and comfort, indoors as well as on the veranda. Some of things we appreciated: - an open, well equipped kitchen, including a coffee maker, a rice steamer and complimentary tea and coffee - air conditioned bedrooms - an en suite bathroom for each of the four rooms - a mosquito net around every double bed - a washing machine - a beach less than a 10 minute walk away - a choice from five or so set breakfast menus at a very reasonable price, with Indonesian as well as western options. Laurent was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about Karimunjawa. Amongst other things he organised taxis, food deliveries, a snorkeling tour and scooters. In short, we had a wonderful time!

The villa has a separate wifi network from the other accommodations and it worked intermittently: the router signal was strong but most of the time there was no bandwidth. The wifi network for the rest of the grounds did work well but did not quite reach all the way to the villa and was only accessible when sitting in the front garden.

Mirabelle Joglo Village is an oasis of peace and relax. Lovely rooms are clean and well equipped, immersed in a lush garden. Breakfast is delicious and has several options. Laurent and Etha are an amazing couple, helpful and kind. They make you really feel at home and they helped us with the scooter, the boat tickets and the snorkelling day. Highly recommended!!

Everything was just amazing. Whole place, location (nearby beautiful beaches and also city center with restaurants, fish market, massage, etc.). Besides cottage has a beautiful seaview, great bathroom and comfortable bed. Everything was super clean. Moreover the owners were super helpful and thanks to them the stay on the Karimunjawa overwhelmed our expectations..

The location is very quiet, and you can directly see the sea to the east when you live here. Take a few steps north to watch the sunrise. The village owner and proprietress warmly welcome guests and provide prompt service. There are five choices for breakfast, all of which are very delicious. The environment is very clean and comfortable, very suitable for long-term living.
