GreeceNothing! it was great. Our only suggestion was to have a proper bedside light in the rooms.
This was one of the most enjoyable stays in Java. Nora, our host, was AMAZING, and so helpful! The homestay has a lovely garden, and patio location is excellent and it also offers free washing facilities, which came very handy. It also has lovely communal areas, with a fully equipped kitchen. The area is really nice, with some nice coffee bars nearby and very clean. We loved Yogyakarta and our stay at Ndalem Sarengat!

The location near everything I wanted to go in my list. The atmosphere was perfect. The neighborhood is so silent, tranquil and gave me the serenity I need. Hot water was very good. The furniture and ambience gives us antique and old Javanese feelings. Feels like home far from my home.

And Rama, the young man helped me in everything, for ordering food, online taxi, day out booking to Barobudur. I'm really thankful to him. Young girl Lia was also nice, always smiling. NetherlandsThe location is not great and you don’t really have much around. There are a few local street food vendors and warungs around, but better restaurants and cafes are at least 10 minutes walk. I had to take the moto taxi everywhere basically. You have kitchen to cook and have coffee there if you like though. Also there were 4 pillows, but all are very big and uncomfortable, but this may be just me. They have 15 different iguanas in the back garden, they made quite an impression on me that I dreamed of them at night.
The host was super nice and the first impression was good. I got some recommendations for places to eat and it was nice. The room is basic but you have everything you need. Very clean and Ok shower pressure.

United KingdomThe bathroom needs a ton of bleach, it was far from clean, yellow staining all over toilet & sink the smell in there was awful. Grubby marks around door handles & light switches, kitchen cupboard doors very grubby. Needs a good clean.
Great location, not touristy, very authentic area & very central. Lovely house, very roomy with air con in bedrooms. Norma was a very helpful host.
