Lovely hosts, clean, great location and fairly priced. What more can you ask for?

Maybe a better quality shampoo/soap, but we were fine with it anyway.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable for its price. There are dining tables outside of the room for meals which makes it feel like home.

We had to shower shower with cold water for 3 nights straight as there was a problem with the heater. Prayers in the early hours of the morning are really loud.

It felt like home. So sad, that we had to leave. The owners are very friendly and the place is a little gem.

Jogja can be quite overwhelming. This was a lovely place to hang out and sleep in. It was clean, white, bright and exceptionally spacious. I appreciated the extensive desk space, the arm chairs, multiple lamps, and plenty of power points. The bathroom was very clean and included facecloths. WIFI was good. The property is only a 10 minutes walk to Prawirotaman Street that hosts multiple tourist-friendly restaurants.

It was a shame that there was no breakfast available during my stay. I was told the cook had left.

I chose this house because I was curious about its exceptional reviews. Is that true? As soon as I came and entered this house, as soon as I felt this house... I knew that the reviews and ratings given were not wrong. I do not regret staying there and am very happy to share my experience for you to get an extraordinary living experience. The house is very neat, clean and comfortable. feels like living in your own home. The public area is open so it is comfortable because the air feels fresh and spacious. A simple pantry provides convenience for those of you who want to heat up the food you bought from outside and enjoy it. The location is close to many dining options, near the Trans Jogja shelter, near the Kraton tourist spot. It is very suitable for those of you who like to walk and enjoy the authentic Jogja village atmosphere. The road in front of the house is only suitable for 1 car that is not big and there is no space for parking (staying overnight) so guests must consider the security of the vehicle they bring. although according to the host the area there is a lot of CCTV and is relatively safe. but don't worry getting offline and online taxis is very easy. The host [Djodi) is very nice and helpful. the breakfast is always delicious and different every day and beautifully presented.

If the shower spray is stronger and bigger it will make everything perfect.

The place looks exactly like the pictures: a big and beautiful house with lots of open spaces and incredible rooms. Our room was spacious, well-organized, and spotless, with a large and lovely bathroom as well. Extra points for the bed—it was super comfy and spacious! It offers great value for money, and we couldn’t recommend it more! It was by far the BEST stay during our 22-day trip!

Yes, you may hear the prayer call early in the morning, but just keep in mind that you’re in an Islamic country, and it lasts only a few minutes. So don’t worry—you won’t regret staying here!

Some places you have to see to experience and this is one of those places. Palem Kipas is a lovely serene place in Yogyakarta that has perfect feng shui. The place is impeccably clean and peaceful, the rooms are light and airy, and the beds are big and comfy. Breakfast is well prepared and is eaten in a peaceful garden. The property is a good location close to attractions nearby. The host is gracious and helpful.

It’s true that the mosque nearby can be loud and does project sound late/early in the morning. However we found with good ear plugs and the aircon running, this did not disturb our sleep. Also to be aware it is a short few minute stroll from a main road to here down a narrow road (most taxis won’t go down the road as it’s too narrow).

Simply one of the best places I have ever stayed at. A peaceful haven of well thought out quality facilities where everything just worked so well. The breakfast each morning served in a lovely garden courtyard was a highlight I looked forward to everyday. It was different every day - beautifully presented and always delicious. Each night I could stroll to the nearby restaurants for an authentic Indonesian dinner. I wish I could have stayed longer.

    Nothing.

The room was cleaned up well. The room has enough space. The staff is nice. There are enough place to eat in the walking distance.

The chickens are crowing early in the morning, like 3am… But it’s okay. It would be happened everywhere. I would come back here even I know it.

Immaculately clean throughout the property. Breakfast is available upon request the day prior and was delicious and cheap. A good location in Prawirotaman area with plenty of restaurants nearby, far away from other attractions though. Be aware it is down a narrow street so if taking a grab you will need to order it/get out from the hardware shop two minutes up the street. Super friendly staff who cleaned the room when requested. The beautiful cat that hangs around outside really made our stay! Would stay again. Also if you're planning on visiting Borobudur book in advance, tours sell out incredibly quickly!

As other reviews mention the nearby mosques (and chickens) are very loud, even earplugs won't help much, but of course the homestay cannot do anything about this.

Very kind and helpful landlords, especially when my wife got sick they gave us a hand in the most important moment. The place is in good location, walking distance from main landmarks. Beautiful house furnished in style - highly recommended!
