Reviews of Pande Homestay

Cute old Balinese wooden bungalow set in gardens & tucked away from the bustle of coastal Bali. Loved being able to prepare my own breakfast in compact self contained kitchen (2 good supermarkets located nearby). Was private & quiet & obviously attracted similar discrete travellers who like to keep to themselves.

The mosquitoes at night were a bit relentless & mosquito net over bed a bit too small so there were gaps where they would get in. Barking dogs when arriving home late were a bit much (the big black one even snapped at me & should be locked up at night).

The rooms are nothing like the pictures. We booked a villa and it was very dirty, there were ants coming from the holes on the floor and the walls. The bathroom was dirty. There were some yellow stains on the pillow cases. I won’t comment the kitchenette. The door wasn’t closing properly. We had to use a padlock to close it when not there. The photos showed a spacious, clean and bright room but the reality was different. Our friend stayed in one of the rooms and it was the same - old and dirty. Very bad experience. It’s not cool to mislead people with photos not corresponding to the reality.

They are always friendly when you meet them. The room was cleaned every day. The garden and outside area are very pretty. It has a temple. The room was very big. the aircon and fan were a blessing.

Maybe having an office desk in the room would have been nice. But there are plenty of coffee bars around where you can cowork from. I felt I have enough privacy.

The accommodation is budget-friendly. Old equipment, cleanliness is adequate. The staff is helpful.

It was located close to shops and restaurants while being far enough secluded to have minimal noise from the street. The staff were really friendly and would clean up the room and outside pathways everyday

I did not ask for but the sheets were not washed in the 3 weeks I was there. They probably would have if I asked

Lovely location, lots of things going on on the highstreet, the Homestay has a temple on the grounds and lots of comings and goings so fascinating to see. The rooms were large and comfortable. Very clean.

The location was very good, rooms were spacious and the staff were accommodative of our late check in! The area is handy for getting about the centre if you don’t have a bike. Nice dogs around too.

The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but overall was good for the price!

It was soo nice, couldn’t recommend enough!!! Facilities were so good and the room was so nice!

The place have a really good position in canguu from yoga studios , restaurants, sea, massages etc. The place is nice because it’s a home stay so you have all the small private temples and the garden that is give the place a beautiful environment. I was in the big room with the balcony with the sun coming up in the morning really nice. The water is hot and the bathroom is big. They do the bad every day. The WiFi is great I was working from there too

The bed is not super super comfortable. The room is clean but not so clean. There was construction in front but now in all Bali.
