It wasn’t the nicest or cleanest property we’d stayed in and the holes in the room need filling or blocking off with vents.

The place is located in a nice area and it’s fairly close to some restaurants & bars, although you will need a bicycle to get around (the hotel provide these for free). The room needed modernising and for some reason there were holes in the walls & bathroom wall, which were stuffed with tissue paper, this wasn’t good with lots of mosquitos around. The bed did have a mosquito net though which is always a plus. The staff were OK, although a bit odd, and very pushy on selling boat trips or whatever, which is a common theme in Indonesia!

We had a nice stay at Paridas bungalow. The owner is super friendly and helps you with everything you need. Its location is perfect within walking distance to everything and it has a great cost/price value.

Great little place to stay. A home away from home. The gentleman who takes care of things there is super helpful and it's so nice to be greeted with a smile and some breakfast in the morning! It's in a nice quiet place and the garden is lovely. Outside of high season it was great value for money.

Maybe the only thing that felt a bit inconvenient was getting to the place with a wheeled suitcase. During the rainy season, puddles form along the paths, making access more difficult. But of course, that’s not something they can control. Also, I’m not in favor of using horse-drawn carts, so that wasn’t an option for me.

I had a wonderful stay at the Parida bungalow! :) The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it had great amenities like a fridge, a kettle for boiling water, a mosquito net, and a small warm light on the bedside table, which added a cozy touch. There was also a table and chair, which made it easy to work from the room. One thing I really appreciated was the natural light in the room, there are windows on two walls, making the space feel bright. There were no outside noises, just the peaceful sounds of nature. The wifi connection was excellent, I was able to work from my room without any issues. The breakfast was delicious, and the service from Julian and the other staff member was fantastic. The location is great, tucked away from the main street, so it's quieter, but still close enough to everything. I felt completely at home here and had an amazing experience!

Bathroom had a smell. A bit mouldy ceiling as with most places in bali it's just to humid.

We arrived 2 hours before check in. And that was no problem. Rooms are nice so nothing to complain about. Great location. Staff is super friendly.

The things we didn't like, was that the shower was poor (it was literally a dribble) and on a couple of occasions the water stopped altogether. The shower stopped mid hair wash 😂 luckily we had some bottled water. As its a little off the beaten track, it's a dirt track that you walk along down to the beach, so at night time it's too dark. If you want the lit up route it's much longer to get back. This wasn't a problem for us as we had bikes, as it was much quicker, but if you were walking this might be an issue. Just behind the rooms there is a rubbish dump where the locals burn their rubbish in a big pit, so there can be a lot of smoke at times. However these things weren't massive issues for us, and at the end of the day the accomodation was very reasonable and good value for money.

We stayed here for 8 days in July in a standard room. It met all our needs - it was really spacious so plenty of room for all our stuff, and solid brick building which was nice. However we did still hear the call to prayer at 4am dispite this, but as the island is so small you will hear it wherever you stay. We were aware of this, so it wasnt a problem - just bring some earplugs if you like your sleep. There was no safe, but a lockable cupboard which was handy. Full size fridge, mosquito net, and aircon all great. The staff were really lovely, very friendly and helpful. When we asked for some clean towels, more toilet paper etc (the rooms don't get cleaned) they quickly provided what we needed. It's close to the beach, but we hired bicycles for our entire stay as its a bit tucked away. Having a bike made it so much easier getting around, it only took a couple of minutes to whizz down to the beach. Mowies beach bar is at the end of the track which was lovely, we went there most mornings for breakfast. Overall, having seen some of the other accommodation choices at this price on the island, this was great value and we would recommend. Its quite a small little complex with only about 5 rooms.

Quiet, good aircon, mosquito net, fridge, very nice area around and the staff is friendly. The houses are made of stone, you dont hear anything from the neighbors. We were allowed to use the kitchen as well. All good!
