Noise. Mosques start very early. Street food market out front would be quiet except for one stall who plays a music jingle really loud for hours on end but usually finishes about 1030pm. Wifi cuts in and out but i was upstairs at the back, might be better closer

I’ve stayed here before, but this time could only get a fan room. This room was very hot, extremely noisy after 5 AM, and the bed was a narrow cot.

Homy and clean acommodation with old style decoration. With decent price you get breakfast too :) Location is near Tunjungan with many food resto and gift shop 👍

Only spent one night but it was great! Great value, great location, pleasant staff, large clean room with AC. We didn’t have an issue with mosquitoes like others. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was fine :)

The hotel is in a good location. Many shops and restaurants around.The room itself was clean, but the bathroom could be cleaned better. The breakfast is simple, but ok (coffee as an option would be nice :)

breakfast is just one packaged bun and an egg. very small and not filling, not tasty. very early in the morning they started doing maintenance work at the garden and talked and laughed super loud that we woke up. when you have guests you should act more thoughtful

It was a little hard to find as we were walking from the train station amd googlw maps showed a wrong lication. We did not book air con and only the fan was not cool enough.

This is not a western style hotel, it is Indonesian, but clean and very welcoming.

The feel of the place is amazing, old style colonial Dutch in an absolutely fantastic location. The accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. Great staff and close to lots of good food options and cool coffee shops.

Only one little towel (instead of two big ones), breakfast consisted of a boiled egg, one sweet bun and tea. Fan, not air conditioning. No soap/shampoo and no toilet paper. No blanket. Not silent (you could hear the voices and cars on the street) and we couldn't switch the light on the outside off, so the light shined in all night (curtain helped only partially).

Entrance and common spaces are very nice. When you enter you have the impression of being in a very nice place. Breakfast is brought in front of the room and you can take it wherever you like.

Beautiful setting. The rooms are in a courtyard, with a comfortable patio in front of each room. Very high ceilings. Wooden shutters. Old fashioned but functional bathroom and excellent service. I found my breakfast set on the patio for me when I woke up. The staff organized my ride to the airport. I enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. The location is perfect on a quiet street, but a block away from a major thoroughfare.

Nothing, but I hope they can vary their breakfast -- such as offering fried rice -- because on the third day, we started to get bored of eating boiled egg and bread.

The breakfast was basic -- boiled egg, bread and hot tea, but it is very okay for a hotel of such a cheap price. The pillow is comfortable, making my mother sleep well. The hotel is located in an area where you can buy something for your family at home. It is also situated very close to Tunjungan Street, where there are many well-maintained historical buildings and nice coffee shops.
