Breakfast was disappointing; rooms were average and not very clean. Booked two rooms and we’re at the opposite end of the hotel; not convenient when traveling with a 15 yo child.

    Nice pool. Nice location.

The breakfast was basic and cold, so we ate on our first morning and then went out every day after, maybe don't include breakfast.

The location of Pertiwi was perfect for us as you could walk to everything, huge amount of bars, restaurants, cafe's and shops at your doorstep. We had a Villa that was located at the back of the property so the walk from the front at Monkey Forest Road was steep and long, not for the elderly or people with mobility issues, but there is also a back entrance on another road Jl Bisma which was flat, there are also hotel rooms at the front of the property. The Villa was big, had a great pool and excellent strong shower, we loved our stay and would stay again.

The private pool suites, however, need to be refreshed. The pool has many loose tiles. The outdoor furniture needs cushions. The bathroom and shower and tub need serious work. Our private pool wasn’t so private at all!!! Their maintenance had removed the long privacy wall fence because it was old and falling apart, but they never replaced it. So, I could see the guests swimming nude in front of my suite, and of course they could see me too 😞This was our second stay in 1 year!

Kitchens in the villa a little run down and monitored fridge. Lounge area had nil cushions.

It was quiet and the location was good as long as you are at the back of the property. Front section has some very steep areas to walk .

Needs a serious deep clean and power wash. Our pool at our pool villa was dirty and never got the sun. We didn’t use it and preferred the main pool. Bed was horrible and the netting was covered in stains. Room stank of mould and had ants. One rubbish bin in the whole room. Went for breakfast on the last morning, glad we had avoided it because there were ants crawling through the carrots.

    Great central location, two entrances.

We loved almost everything about Pertiwi but I would caution anyone with mobility issues to do your research before staying here. Accessibility was challenging due to the deep gully running through the centre of the property and there are no rails to keep you steady. The pool in the private villa was almost impossible for my friends to get in and out of as there wasn’t a pool ladder, only deep steps in the pool. The gardens, staff and overall location was fantastic.

Our bathroom sink was blocked. Staff fixed but it kept happening. Toilet easily blocked even when not putting toilet paper in toilet. We boiled water and poured down sink and filled bin with water and poured down toilet daily to prevent clogs. In Bali Draino and Plumbers Friend etc are not used because they don't use chemicals. A plunger is used instead. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

I liked the room, pool was nice, good breakfast. Staff were friendly.

Great price for a very central but quiet location in Ubud. Huge green resort with a nice pool. Access to two different streets on both sides is a big plus.
