Our room felt very old and is in urgent need of renovation. It was also quite humid, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the water drain. The staff tried to mask it with an air freshener, but the odor was still noticeable. Overall, the humidity in the room was a major issue.

We loved the location—it was tucked away in a peaceful part of Ubud. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and there were plenty of activities to join if you wanted to.

We stayed in total 3 days in 2 different rooms and it was among the most relaxing and enjoyable stays I have ever been at. So kind and helpful staff, they really went above and beyond, everything was so nice and tidy, we had some decorations aswell as the pool flower decor which was insanely beautiful. I really suggest you try it out yourself. The view was breathtaking and pictures do not do it justice. Eating during sunset at their restaurant is a MUST, trust me. The food was also very good, its not usually this good at hotels but this quality of food was on par with very expensive restaurants. This stay is very well worth it and we were so sad to leave.

View is nice but nothing from other world. As I said breakfast is really tasteful but to be fair, for the price we are paying it should be served as as buffet and not limited options honestly. There is no absolute privacy in the swimming pool (Artist room) as it is visible from the family room nearby and we were not expecting that. If you want to charge premium you have to offer premium.

The comfort of the bed is absolutely amazing, as it is the room and available amenities. But I guess that is what you should expect when you pay hundreds of euros for a one night stay :) Breakfast is really good and tasteful.

It was quite loud while we were trying to sleep. You can hear your neighbors, roosters at 2am and dogs fighting. Also the pool water was pretty cold which made swimming not as enjoyable sadly!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They arranged airport transfer and were always quick to assist us if we needed anything. The location was lovely as well, not too far from the city center but not in the center either.

At first, I was a little uneasy about how open the bathroom was and worried it would allow creepy crawlies to get into the room, but I soon embraced and it was a central element of the property’s charm.

With the breath-taking setting, exceptionally kind and attentive staff and wonderful sense of true Balinese culture and tradition, Pramana Watu Kurung is a very special place and we’ll never forget it.

1) Audibility - at night I could hear neighbors talking through shared walls. Not good for a 5-star venue. 2) Restaurant service - it was slow, staff confused orders and was a bit forgetful. The food itself was all right, and the cocktails too. Room service - the breakfast was good but already cold by the time it reached our room. Coffee was warm, but the food looked liked the chef put some cold buffet leftovers on the plate and sent to us. Also, we had two dinners after dark and it was difficult to read menus although small reading lamps were provided. The bar downstairs had limited drink selection.

Exceptional design of lobby area and pathway to restaurant. Pure magic! Exceptional design of our villa and inner yard. We stayed at Artist Village and I strongly recommend it for a quiet hideaway. The private pool was great, too. Very friendly and professional staff at the reception and around hotel. All buggy drivers were wonderful!

Would have loved to eat more of our meals on site but they have a very limited plant based options. It would be great if these were expanded!

The staff were top tier. Everyone you passed or interacted with was genuine, hospitable and kind. The hotel is perfect tucked away off a quiet road, and ideal for relaxing. The breakfast spread is lovely, the pool is perfect to cool down and the room is remarkable.
