The staff is friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful.

The area is nice, but you only need a day, max 2 to see everything there is to see. A mosquito net over the bed would be nice.

The staff and owners are very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and we had dinner there a couple of times. The rooms are just like the pictures there are no side tables for the bed but the mattress was comfortable . There is a a fan that you can set on a timer and also to swing in the room to provide adequate ventilation. The shower has a very poor output due to the eco-setup however the Mandi is fine to wash yourself. In three days or so, you will have done everything in the area, you can see flying bats in the evening from the bungalows as well as birds and water lizards. You can walk to a small village over the bridge where there is a shop where you can buy soft drinks and a warung for lunch. We didn’t have any problems with mosquitoes in the rooms. Bathroom was clean. Just bear in mind that the water you use from the Mandi goes straight into the water below, which isn’t very ecological. We had a lovely stay.

Amazing location - you have to go by a small boat for a short distance to get there - views of karst mountains and rice paddy fields. SO quiet and lovely. Great communal areas to sit and look out, the food was excellent and the owners were so lovely and helpful both in organising local tours and onwards transport. Really amazing place, if you go to Rammang Rammang, make sure you plan in time to stay the night instead of just a day trip - the quiet evenings and early mornings are magical!

Showers didn't have a lot of power in the water.

Certainly a very scenic location by a tidal river and between steep limestone hills. Breakfast is basic, but in line with what can be expected when traveling in rural Indonesia, away from the touristic centers. Staff is very friendly but speaks very little English.

The huts are very basic and offer only minimal comfort. Except for the bed there is no other furniture provided inside. The mattress is thin and hard, which we considered uncomfortable. Everything at the EcoLodge is dated and would require urgent refurbishing - if western standards were applied. There is no window in the bedroom, electric lights are low-power, it is very dark inside the room. The bathroom facilities are equally basic and no hot water is provided, also not for the shower. As there is no A/C and humidity is very high, clothes will be damp in the morning. The small-diameter fan mounted on one wall is noisy at higher speeds and is generally insufficient to provide acceptable evaporative cooling at night. There are numerous wooden boats going up and down the river. Most of them are extremely noisy. As the lodge is by the riverside and traffic is heavy during daytime, this definitely not a quiet location.

The nature surrounding the hotel. The staff.

The room is extremely simple. Just a bed, nothing else. No table, no nothing. Shower didn’t work. Only cold water from the bucket. The fan wasn’t well directed to the bed where you need the air. I found found it expensive quality price wise.

The breakfast of the second day was nice.

Expensive for what you get. No free water refill available and the guide we got did not speak any English. There was another couple who did have an English speaking guide and the host did not put our groups together. Felt like they only wanted to make money. There was no water pressure, so showering was difficult. All of these things are okay if the price would be much lower.

    the location.

The hotel as a whole is quite tired, and cosmetic repairs are definitely required. the shower in the room is essentially dripping and it is not possible to wash under it. I had to fill water in bucket and then pour it myself from a bucket to my head. I don't understand what the problem is with installing a more powerful pump or just replacing the shower hose. Some of the electrical outlets and light bulbs are not working. It needs to be fixed. Nevertheless, this is probably the best place in the region to stay for one or two nights. another question is whether it is worth coming here at all. The scenery is beautiful, but there is a lot of garbage in the water, and swimming along the river, where the bottom is covered in plastic, does not give much pleasure.

Great spot to see some beautiful nature. The staff is very friendly and the owner speaks English very well and will take time to speak about Indonesian culture. The food of the restaurant is very good and the pancakes are very delicious!!😋

We visited the place second part of December and that means rain season. We had bad luck it almost rained non stop and water levels were extremely high. In our cabin, we got some water on the floor but the main cabin stayed dry fortunately. There were various flooding reported in the news so we think we just had bad luck. One site seeing was because of high water level not possible to do.

Great service, amazing people, very interesting place. With an additional fee, you can get boat tours up and down the river where some truly fascinating sights are to be found. While the property looks detached from the town, everything is actually connected via a narrow path.

The shower has pretty much zero water pressure but there's a bucket and a tap you can use to keep yourself clean.
