Interior design feels like grandma’s house. Room is very clean and well-kept. Shared bathroom is clean. Dorm bed very comfy. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating!!

Super friendly and helpful stuff, very cozy and quiet place where you can relax after your activities. Loved the smoothie bowl for breakfast! Restaurants, good warungs and a supermarket around the corner. Go there and enjoy Jogja.

It has an outdoor bathroom which I personally don’t love but that’s a personal preference. They have a scooter rental but unfortunately the scooters were sold out when we were there.

Basic room, clean and comfortable bed. Nice staff, we booked two private yoga classes which were great. The breakfast was good. Good location.

Stayed here for 3 weeks. Staff was really nice, if I had a question it will be answered immediately. Also if something broke, they’ll fixed it asap. Location was very close to a lot of nice places and the center of yogya. It was clean and bathrooms had an open roof shower which I really liked, but it also offers an shower inside for who prefers that. Overall, this hostel was more an home than a hostel.

Beautiful place, clean and spacious rooms and shared spaces, provide locker with lock and towels, breakfast is yummy and the staff nice. Location is quiet, outside the city walls but close to the "touristy" streets with trendy restaurants. Easy to get around by tuktuks or grab. Cute vibes!

3D mold on the walls in the main room and in the bathroom. Little house can accommodate 2 adults or en extra (small) child, who can all sleep upstairs. I don't recommend using the couch/sofa for 3rd person - as it is very uncomfortable. There is enough room downstairs even for a nice double bed - a hint for the owners. Kitchen was a bit dirty.

Nice little houses around a pretty garden. Pool, seating area and a kitchen. Nice breakfast. Great location. Great value for the price.

The nicest people! We booked our Waterfall- Bromo-Ijen Tour with them and everything worked out perfectly! The beds were very comfortable and staff was lovely. Definitely recommend a visit (if you are easygoing) ;)

The bathroom floor. Too slippery, maybe bcs from the previous user, the soap foam didnt clean and flushed. The shower on the big bathroom, the water flow is too small The smell of smoke from the outside everytime i open the door and if theres alot people gath outside. But it is not everytime and everysecond.

Its like a Jogja’s old house, decorate vintage and adapt to modern era. I’ve book the female dorm, and its clean, no smell, wide mirror, cold AC. Good living room, good wifi also. We can drink and made our food, and also i am surprise that i’ve got breakfast. I keep asking to the staff is it really em got breakfast?

We had a very good experience here. Quite, clean, and super nice staff! It's close to a hip street, Tirtodipuran St., where you can find some good restaurants, shops and a book store. Highly recommended to stay here!

The tiny homes were nicely designed and cosy. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor shower/bathroom. Water is readily available and staff are always around to help out. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed the vibes.

Great hospitality and chilled people running the place. We had a single room, which is a bungalow, and it was very cozy and comfortable. Aircon, good shower, nice sofa provided. Breakfast is made on the spot, so it might need a bit of time if many people order. But it's delicious! Location is also good, there's a street full of bars and restaurants nearby. Malioboro is a bit of a walk to the north, or just take a bike or gojek.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in so far! The staff is extremely friendly and make sure you feel at home right away. The breakfast is amazing and so is the outdoor shower. It’s not a big hostel so it feels very homey. The location is good and it’s clean!

Amazing location situated near the Prawirotaman area with many restaurants and bars. Tucked away from the main road, so peaceful night rest. Dorm rooms are spacious with great AC, private curtain and light. Lockers are provided with a key and outside the room. Pool facilities and areas to chill are nice and breakfast was delicious. Staff are the best thing about this place and will help with everything you may need. Perfect stay to socialise if a solo traveller but also to take time for yourself.

The only slightly annoying thing was the communal areas are not cooled so it's quite hot hanging out in them. My laptop was overheating so had to go to a cafe. Sometimes a short wait for the toilet, as only 2.

I was really pleased with the dorms at ranasa. It is a smaller hostel but has all the facilities of a larger one, including a pool which was bliss in the evening to chill and read a book. The staff were very kind and helpful, and I met some nice people staying to get a beer with. People were quiet at night. Aircon in the dorm was great. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value for money.
