Pure Adventure! Just getting to the island was a real adventure — exciting, but very well organized. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcome. The beach houses were beautiful, well-equipped, and featured a lovely terrace along with separate shower facilities. The food at the restaurant was always freshly prepared, varied, and absolutely delicious. One of the highlights for us was that every evening, guests and hotel staff played beach volleyball together — a perfect way to end the day and connect with others. The house reef is large, easy to reach, and offers plenty to discover for both divers and snorkelers — truly a paradise beneath the surface.

On booking there is mentioned a fitness. And at the site there is a signboard. But there is no gym at all. If you want your room to be cleaned you have to ask. If you come a bit late or you are polite and are not rushing to the buffet, it might happen that you are eating the leftovers. Tables and number of guest are not fitting all the time. In the middle of the central location/restaurant there is a tabletenis-table. Its very misplaced there; doesnt fit the total and takes a lot of space. The interaction with the manager was not more than ‘are you ok?’. It didnt feel warmhearted.

Very nice location with a beautiful reef in front of it. We had the sunset villa on the beach, which was marvelous. Clean, nice furniture, good bed and all you need. Food is buffet. Good and it varies a lot. One eve we even had hamburgers. Compliment to the chef.

The property is just amazing! Really nice furniture and the rooms are really comfortable. The island is paradise and the resort takes care of the environment around. Food was very good and diverse. The owner and the whole staff are super friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the stay! Will come back for sure.

Undeniably the best resort on the Togean Islands. Beautiful bungalows, which are actually tents. Super good food. Very kind and helpful staff. Very professional diving center. The island is exceptionally beautiful. There are snorkeling sites accessible from the shore. There is also a gym with a boxing bag.

I would have liked a sunbed outside of our accommodation. Was disappointed snorkeling was way too far out to reach, but this is no fault of the property.

Staff very pleasant, food was ok. Glamping style accommodation,.so fairly basic. Bathroom also basic but enough for what you need on an island stay. Owner definitely takes care in facilitating what guests need.. well set up.

Having to leave

This is a place where you feel HOME but in paradise. Everything is clean and created with attention for details. Food is absolutely the best I had in Indonesia. The resort is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef wall where we saw plenty of fish, turtles, and a pod of 36 Dolphins!! The owner Thomas is very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to have a chat and assist in any way possible. He displays passion for the area and the correct care for the environment! Good selection of books in the resort as well.

Reconnect perfectly invites you to relax and linger. There is a wonderful coral reef for snorkeling and very soon also for diving. It is great how the owner attaches importance to sustainability and environmental thinking. All our respect to Thomas who built this beautiful resort from scratch. There is no connection from Ampana Port. But you have to go to Tete B Port, it is close to Ampana Port. Thomas can organize a fishing boat which is easy.

Reconnect island is amazing, thanks to the hosts and their staff! It's one of a kind experience, a hidden gem that I'm proud to have discovered. It's located on a private island around 30-min boat ride to mainland Ampana. The resort organizes everything for the boat pickup, and even the car pickup if you arrive at Luwuk Airport. Did I already say it's one of a kind experience? No need to detail the beauty of the place as you can see on the photos and on their website or insta account. Once you're there, you can do snorkelling, kayak and standup paddle, trekking around the untouched island. And of course simply admiring the sunrise, and simply admiring the sunset. You can have an overwater BBQ organized (never saw this before than on the island!) and there is also some more romantic things you could get organized if you come as a couple! Overall it's perfect for solo travellers, couples, and groups, who are looking to relax their mind and do great activities in nature, in the safety and easiness of a luxury resort.

24hour diesel-generator running for making energy instead of using solar-panels, transport couple-wise per engine-speedboat, supplying more or less everything from mainland. All that is not what we think you should call "sustainable". Just call it a wonderful diving resort with nice people and good vibes - that´s what it is.

Amazing island - wonderful nature. Lovely ressort with nice people doing their utmost, lot of delicious food.
